Ok guys I'm here with chapter 10 officially my longest story but enough of that on with the story

Jakes POV

when I wake up I see Rick on the pouch of a house he looks pale I think I'm in a car yah it's the one we always use how long have I been knocked out?

I look over and see Lori coming over she opens the door to cheek on me then she sees I'm awake she gasps and turns towards the house "Rick Jakes awake get some water!"

Rick gets up but then an old man comes out of the house with a glass of water I hear him talk to Rick

"Rick you rest now!"

Rick nods and sits back down the old man walks over to us and hands me a glass of water "here drink it you've been out for two days"

'Two days that's how long I've been out'

I sip my water as I try to get up lori stops me "Jake you need your rest" she sits me back down

"I...Its too hot in here can I go sit on the porch with Rick?"

I make up a lie "please?" I add she looks at me with pity and gives in "fine but to the porch only ok?.." I smile "ok!"

We walk to the porch and I sit in the chair next to Rick he smiles at me "I see your finally up that's good" he sounds tiered I smile "yep two days of sleep I won't be sleeping anytime soon!" We laugh and Lori goes back in Rick goes to leave but I stop him

"Rick about Sophia..." He cuts me off "don't worry we're looking" he gets up I fallow him and raise my voice a little "no Rick I was with her she got bit and now she's dead in the woods with a rock in her head"

He's confused "you found her like that?" He's not getting it "no Rick I killed the walker that bit her then I killed her before she turned..." I was on the verge of tears Rick Neal's down and hugs me like he would Carl

"Jake I'm sorry" he pulls back "I'm sorry you had to do that" he gets up "let's go cheek on Carl" wait Carl where is Carl and Dale Shane Andrea where is everyone "Rick what happened?..."

He looks at me with a tear in his eye "Carl got shot looking for a.........sophia...." he said then he went into the house without another word

the old man came out a minute later "you know I don't think we've properly met I'm Hershel Greene" he holds out his hand I take it smiling at him.       "I'm Jake Huntsman!"

I say shaking his hand he chuckles at my childish acting but that's just what it is an act I haven't been cheery like a real kid ever since my mom died

Hershel walks to the front door and turns on his heel "don't be a stranger come on in and see how your friend Carl's doing" he walks in I fallow

he leads me to a bed room and in the bed is Carl a bandage on his side and skin pale as snow I go over and climb onto a chair for a better look

I look down at him and hear Lori speak "don't worry Jake Shane and one of Hershel's men are going after supply's to help Carl he's going to be ok" then she continued staring down at her unconscious son
