The Long Road Home

Jakes POV:

After about three hours of walking we see a store the Suns just starting to peak over the horizon we lost the pack of walkers a few miles back so we head in its a small super market

We clear it and head for the boys section we look through and grab some underwear we put them on

We grab some blue jeans and some t-shirts we put these on and head out now in the early morning sun we walk south hoping to find our people...

Jesse's POV

I woke up to a small knock on my door i get up and walk to the door I open it to see a small boy then I recognize him as little Jackson

"Um can I come in Jesse?"

"Ya ya"

I move away and he moves in

"Where's your mom?" I ask

"She's at home"

"Dose she know your here?"
He hesitates
"N..no...."

I look at him sternly

"Why?"

He looks at his feet "last night I saw Jake and Carl go out the front gate..."

I cut him off "why where you or Carl or Jake out past curfew?"

He looks down again

"Well I like fallowing them and I saw them through my window so I fallowed"

I sit him down and I sit to "what we're Jake and Carl doing?"

He looks up "they went to the play ground and sat there for ever I left but on my way out I saw them go out the gate and then a car driving off"

I take this all in "why didn't you tell anyone?!" He shrinks back mumbling the next words

"My mommy wouldn't wake up..."

I calm down "sorry Jackson thanks for telling me now you go on home" he nods gives me a hug and leaves

I get dressed and head to get Rick I find him on his way down town "RICK!" He sees me and comes over

"What is it Jesse?"

I catch my breath and speak "Jake and Carl are missing kidnapped I think" he stands shocked "I'll get a truck ready go find Daryl!" I nod and I'm off

I find Daryl and we meet Rick...

Jakes POV:

We've been on the road all day our feet hurt and the walkers are fallowing us we go faster to get ahead it works we then dive into a car I start looking around "Damn!" No keys I get down and start hot wiring the car

As the hoard is right on our tail it starts I get up we close the doors and I floor it out of there

An hour later we're lost and low on gas a few minutes later we sputter and stop as the car runs out we grab our stuff and get out

We walk for what seems like forever then it's dark we find a pawn shop and set up inside for the night in the shop we find a few guns and two knifes

We sleep and the next morning we go it's been an hour and now we're fighting off walkers a few dozen walkers that is "CARL IF WE DONT MAKE IT I LOVE YOU!" I slice a walker Carl at my back

"I LOVE YOU TO!" He shouts then we run as we're out of ammo but then we get separated it's been an hour now still no sign from Carl but he's alive I know it he's smart....

Carl's POV:

I got separated from Jake and I'm not going to stop going till I find him he's alive and I am too we're survivors but for now I gotta lose these walkers...
