I was walking inside when I saw a note on the door and grabbed it as I walked inside and read it. My eyes couldn't believe what I was reading, my heart ached for it to be a lie..

Dear Shane,

I hope you know the years I have spent with you were the best. But now seeing you in all this pain... It kills me... And if I'm already slowly dying... Why don't I just make it official? I can't stand to see you like this... And I can't stand the pain to breathe anymore.... Shane know that not only am I doing this for love, but out of pain.... I can't take it anymore.. Every time I try to breathe it kills me even more. Literally. I love you, and tell our boys I love them too and I had no greater joy than to be their "Pops" and your "Lunatic TeddyBear"....
