My Mermaid Life

It's time to start

We walked hand in hand towards the beach.

Percy chuckled and said, "close your eyes."

I murmured, "if you're gonna try and kidnap me. I'm gonna dive in the water and show you how strong my mermaid tail is."

He laughed and tugged my hand where I blindly followed him.

He said, "ok. Open your eyes."

I opened my eyes and my mouth fell open.

There was a red patterned picnic blanket with a candle light and fruits and a picnic basket. The background was the perfect beach scene with palm trees giving us shade.

He laughed at my expression and hugged me.

I smiled and hugged him back but after a while I made him let go and sat down.

He said, "now I have el sandwicho and a cupcakeo."

I laughed, "is that supposed to make it fancy or something."

"I was hoping for a French accent."

"You failed"

He laughed, "well thanks for softening that for me."

I just shrugged and laid in his arms.

I sighed, this is the perfect normal life and some stupid prophecy took it from me. It also gave me percy so the prophecy is neutral.

I sighed, "will it ever get normal?"

He laid his chin on top of my head, thinking.

He breathed in, "I don't know. I don't know. I wish I did."

His face seemed closer and the light flickered in his eye.

Suddenly ash appeared.

"Oh my god!" I yelled.

Percy jumped and dropped me from his arms. Ow!

"ASH!"

She just shrugged clearly annoyed I was with percy.

Percy didn't say anything, probably because he was taking in her beauty.

I cleared my throat.

He snapped out of it stuttering, "yea-a- s-s o no-or cool."

Ash rolled her eyes, "whatever I don't care."

Another poof and Ariel appeared.

She whined, "Ash I told you to wait. They are on a date."

Percy's eyes bulged either from her pooling out of nowhere, but that seems normal. Probably taking in her beauty. Once meridia comes he's gonna have a heart attack from too much beauty.

I elbowed him and he coughed, "sorry. Eh hi-I."

I sighed annoyed, "this is my boyfriend percy."

Ash rolled her eyes again, "did I ask? Do I even look like I care?"

Ariel scolded her, "ash! Nice to meet you."

Percy just laid down.

Another poof and meridia appeared in the water behind us.

Percy heard and saw her, which ended up with him banging his head on the palm tree.

I snickered, Ariel moved to help percy but I held my hand up stopping her. Who knows what he'll do.

I sighed, "ash can you get Alex? Ariel can you get sea?"

Ash muttered something not very kind and left.

Ariel smiled leaving percy smiling weakly, which resulted me in kicking him.

He grunted and Ariel left.

I walked towards Merida calling behind me, "percy I'll be right back."

Meridia flapped her tail and beckoned me towards her.

She said,"they got a new child. She has the prophecy to get in your dreams and control your mind. This is too powerful. We must commence training now."

Who uses the word commence?

I whined, "let me just tell percy."

She tried to stop me but I left before she could say anything.

I said, "percy I gotta start training. Wait a minute! You have to train because you have powers. Tell the guy with powers to come and Chelsea too."

He nodded gave me a kiss on the cheek and used his super speed and left.

I went back and saw that ash, Alex, Ariel, and sea appeared.

I told meridia and them my idea. Sea and Ariel squealed while Alex and ash groaned.

Meridia said, "the plan works. If we must defeat them we'll need all the help we can get."
