I walk up to them.
"Hello, you must be the new family moving in?"
"Oh, hello. Yes, that's us. I'm Lisa dolan. This is my husband Sean. These are my kids Ethan, Grayson, and Cameron."
"Hello. Nice to meet you all. My name is Rose August."
I shake all their hands.
"Boys, show her your new rooms. I'm sure she wouldn't mind."
I walk with the 2 brothers into the house. I'm suprised when I see a bunch of familiar flowers.
Vervain...
I gulp nervously.
"So.."
Ethan tries to make conversation.
"Can I just ask, why do you guys have vervain in your house. And a tone of it?"
They smirk at me.
"So that if a vampire, like you, comes in our house then we can kill it."
"Wait, wha-"

Tyler's POV
Today was the first day of school. I still haven't heard from Rose since yesterday.
I wonder where she is. I shook it off and placed on my outfit.

I walked out the room.
"Wow." I turn around to see Ian.
"You look very decent today." He looked slightly impressed.
"Very decent. And hot." I see Dylan walk in. Dylan was very good looking. In fact, I'd say he was the hottest boy in the pack.
I smirk at him.
"You look pretty damn sexy yourself." We stare at eachother, then burst into fits of laughter.
Me and Dylan are really close. We always make jokes like these. "Where's your blood sucking friend Rose?"
I huff. "I drink blood too Dyl,"
He rolls his eyes. "Whatever."
I'm about to speak, but Ian cuts us off. "You guys are gonna be late for school! Go. Go. Go!"
We rush out the door and hop in the car.
I decide to text rose.

-who's this?
- Rose, what are you talking about? It's Tyler😒
-I was just joking lol😂
- Alright, are u coming to school?
-actually, I'm not feeling to well
- Oh, ok?

What the hell was that?
I shake it off when we arrive at school. I groan.
"Why do I have to take highschool again?"
Dylan glares at me.
I widen my eyes. "Alright, damn. Sorry Mr. Grumpy."
We walk in and I see the kids from the new family. They were already making friends.
I scoff.
"Fuckboys." I mumble.
"Excuse me?" I jump up, only to see a girl. I clear my throat.
"Yeah?"
"Hi, I do a little school report for the mornings. Is it ok if I talk to you on live?"
"Sure?" I say more as a question.
She whistles and a camera man comes.
"What the fuck?" I whisper under my breathe.
"Ok!," I jump, again.
"Today I'm here with the one and only!..." She puts the phone infront of my mouth.
"Tyler Blood." I mumble.
"I'm sorry, what?"
"Tyler Blood." I say more clear. She snorts.
"What kind of name is that?"
I clenched my fist. She laughs. "Whatever. What grade are you in? Senior or Junior?"
"Senior."
She nods.
"I like your outfit."
I give a fake smile.
"You know what, I gotta go!" I start walking away. She follows me though.
I groan.
"What?!"
"I just want an interview!"
"Just leave me alone"
She grabs my wrists.
I look her in the eyes. "Let go." She nods 'no'
"Or else what?"
I look deeper in her eyes. My eyes turn a slight yellow, then red. Her mouth widens. I show her my fangs.
"Or else I'll rip your flesh into pieces."

I hope it's better then the first. I kinda like how we just started and there's already some drama.
We know who has Rose, but why and what happened to her?
And doesn't the interview girl look kinda suspicious??
