Since I talked to Katii for so long yesterday, I didn't have any time to hang out with Cam and meet this new girl. So I decided to hang out with him today.
When I got there, I saw the moving truck in front if a house 4 houses away from Cameron's. His mom opened the door and welcomed me in.
Ella: hi Mrs.Johnson! Is Cameron able to hang out?
Cam's mom: Yes he is. He's up in his room, which is up the stairs and first door on your left.
Ella: thank you.
I went up the stairs to Cameron's room and knocked.
Cam: come in.
I opened the door an went in.
Cam: hey Ella!
Ella: Hey Cam! I missed you!
Cam: I missed you too! So how did the doctors appointment go?
As he said that, he motioned me to sit on his bed with him. So I did.
Ella: it went well. The doctor said the baby is healthy and I am too!
Cam: that's good!
Ella: I also wanted to ask you something......
Cam: yeah, what is it?
Ella: since Chris isn't going to be in the baby's life....
Cam: mm hm...
Ella: and if we are still together by the time the baby is born...
Cam: I see where this going, you want me to be the step father.
Ella: only if your willing...
Cam: well... I will have to think about that one... I don't know if I'm ready to be a dad yet...
Ella: I know, and I'm not ready to be a mom yet but I guess I have to be...
Cameron gave me a hug, I loved it when he did that. He doesn't tell me when he is going to hug me or hesitate. I had a strong feeling he would be a great dad.
He let go enough to see me face.
Cam: want I go meet the new girl?
Ella: sure, why not!
We went outside and instantly saw her outside. We walked over there and said hi.
Ella: hello! I take it your moving in here?
Girl: yeah! I need a break from loading boxes into the house. My name is chase! I know, that's a weird name for a girl...
Ella: not at all! I love it!
Chase: thanks! So, if I may ask, who are you?
Ella: I'm Ella!
Cam: I'm Cameron!
Chase: nice to meet you both! So you both live in this neighborhood?
Ella: well, yeah but I live a few streets over and that's Cam's house.
Chase: oh, ok. Well I should get to unpacking again even though I don't want to. We should get I know each other better Ella! Here, this is my cell number. Just text me and we can set something up!
She gave me a sticky note with her phone number on it.
Ella: ok! I will! See ya later!
Chase: bye!
Cam and I walked back to his house.
Cam: she is really nice!
Ella: yeah! I think she is going to be close to the top on my best friend list!
Cam: you have a list?
Ella: not a real one...
Cam: how many weeks are you?
Ella: about 4... Why?
Cam: just wondered...
