-There is a small island called St. Pierre close to the maritimes that actually belongs to France.

-Vimy Ridge became Canadian soil , and remains Canadian soil, after Canada captured it in WWI.

-Canada was responsible for a majority of the German U-boats sunk in WWII.

-Since WWII, Canada has focused on peace keeping and has stayed a peace keeping country.

-The war of 1812 was a war between Canada and the States, in which the French, English and aboriginal people of Canada came together to protect our land from being taken by the States. I say Canada won the war because the States had set out to take land and Canada aimed to prevent the States from claiming land in which Canada succeeded; the States didn't gain any land. That's why I say Canada won. Other people say otherwise.
