-Basketball was invented here in Canada by a man named James Naismith.

- Ringette was also invented here in Canada in Northern Ontario. It similar to hockey but the players - except the goalies - play with a straight stick, and intentional body contact isn't allowed, and it's a rubber ring that is used instead of a puck. Of course those are some basic differences only.

-The unemployment rate in Canada is about 6.3 (I know this isn't a good fact, but I have stated lots of the ups of Canada so it is only fair to state some of the downs)

-Close to 5 million people in Canada live in poverty, which is about 1 out of 7 individuals

-Some of the top universities in Canada (as of 2017) University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, McGill University, University of Montreal, University of Alberta, McMaster University, University of Waterloo, University of Calgary, Queen's University, University of Ottawa, University of Victoria, York University, University of Manitoba, Université du Québec, and the University of Saskatchewan. (This is for those looking for postsecondary school here)

Alright my lovely readers, this is the end. I had wanted to continue it, but I realized I just don't have the heart to do it anymore, as it has required me to do more and more research to find out helpful things to know about Canada. Also, I just am ready to move into to other projects, plus it is not fair for me to keep you guys waiting forever for the next update. I thank you all who have been here since I used to regularity update and all of those who joined in after I stopped. I am always happy to see you commenting or voting, and learning more about my beloved Canada. I thank you all once again for sticking with me! Never stop reading, and never stop learning! Love you all! 😄🇨🇦
