-When talking about grades, we say "grade one", "grade two," "grade three" etc.

-(At least in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) not every school has a bell to signal the end of class, we don't have a bell at all, so it's up to students to make sure they are keeping track of time.

-(As far as I know) every Monday everyone must stand to listen to O Canada before class starts, usually while facing a miniature Canada flag that is somewhere in the room.

-Bishop James Mahoney (manny) High School is the only school in Saskatoon that had been named after a person who had still been living at the time they named it. (Because places/things are normally named after the person once they die)

-(I know this isn't related to school, but) Even though you may not see it, we also have problems with poverty, here in Canada. Although we are working to fix this, maybe just not as well as we should be.
