-Saskatchewan is a relatively safe place to live in with the only major natural disasters we experience being hurricanes/tornadoes (not a huge problem), blizzards (not a huge problem) thunderstorms, forest fires, and floods.

-Canada was colonized by the French before the British came and kicked them out of most of Canada, although the held onto Quebec which is why it is the major French community.

-Next year, July 1, 2017, Canada will be 150 years old. (I will probably do a short author's note to celebrate...if I can keep updating for that long).

-Ironically, because Canada is so big, it is hard to get our resources transported out of the country, let alone across the country mostly because of the Canadian Shield that spreads across the upper parts of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario.

- There actually isn't free trade in Canada, this problem is also due to the fact that Canada is so big, people don't know what it's like on the other end of the country so there is dislike between the east and west. Our government is working on getting free trade among the provinces and territories.
