-There is a town (I forget the name) that is half on the American border and half on the Canadian border, so all they have to do is cross the street to be in another country.

-Chris Hadfield is a famous Canadian Astronaut who helped install Canadarm2.

-Alexander Graham Bell lived in Brantford, Ontario and Baddeck on Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. You can still see one of the houses.

-Terry Fox was an amputee, lost his right leg to cancer, who decided to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research. He ran all the way from St. John's, Newfoundland, to Thunder Bay, Ontario before he died from the cancer as it had spread to his lungs. He ran a total of 5, 373km in 143 days. He was put into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame.

-About 2/3 (maybe more) of Canada use to be covered in ice before the glaciers moved up into the Arctic.
