-(As I have come to learn not all places have this) Canadian properties have a front lawn, so our houses aren't right along the sidewalk, there are a few strides of grass between the sidewalk and the house. (Don't worry, we have our own smaller sidewalks up to our front doors, so you won't be ruining the grass ;D)
