Her Last Words

Lying on my bed,
A single tear has been shed.
Gripping my body so tightly,
Hoping to hurt myself just slightly.
Biting my lip to feel the pain,
Trying to keep myself from going insane.

Being awake for so long,
I can't even comprehend what was right or wrong.
Remembering the last scene,
It was the two of us exchanging those words and to what did it mean.
Strange how her words stayed,
Like how it was stuck and was being replayed.

I forced myself to sleep,
Shrugging of the words as I weep.
Her memories that I keep,
It had struck me so deep.
Recalling those,
I hope she is happy with what she chose.
