No matter how much I try to keep you,
but I know that what I'm doing will only hurt you.
I guess this will be the end,
Of a friendship that started on that bend.
I'm sorry for all the things that I've done,
And so I hope all your feelings for me will be gone.
I want to start something anew,
Yet I know it won't happen just like out of the blue.
Thank you for the things we shared,
Because really, it can't be compared.
I'm wishing you all the best,
So that your heart can have its rest.
It's very sad to even write this,
Yet well at least you can have your peace.
