Long Lasting

It was midnight,
With only the moon as my light,
I continually trekked a mountain that has much height.
Although it gave me fright,
I should not stop because if I might,
It doesn't seem right.

It is very steep,
But I have a promise to keep.
She's the person that I always dream on my sleep.
I'm into her so deep,
Yet I also am not a creep.
It's just that I so much miss her which makes me weep.

As I reached on top of the mountain,
I saw that old structure named 'Captain'.
Running towards the fountain,
I've put flowers on that tombstone with a little curtain.
There written 'Susan McCain'.
Crying, I've hugged your tombstone while saying, "My beloved Susane."
