Poems: Emotions Seeping Through

Ironic Refuge

You sought a place to live.
A sense of belongingness, I perceive.
That is one of the things you want to achieve,
Here in this world, I believe.
Where you can relieve
And chill from the problems you have retrieve.

This place is both danger and haven for you.
You'll feel betrayed and secured here, too.
It's like a stage where you can hear an applause and boo.
To befriend someone, you have to woo.
But in the end, some of them will only leave you. Leaving you crying and from your nostrils, you produce a goo.

You wanted to get out
And I know that without a doubt.
You wanted to scream at yourself and shout,
Like waking up yourself to fight in a bout.
Yet sometimes, you don't know what to do so you just pout,
Like that fished named "trout".
