Umbridge has become unbearable, many more decrees have been added, we literally can't do anything anymore. She even tried to get Trelawney fired. The goldren trio are setting up some secrect club so we can learn DADA ourselves. I arrive with Luna at Hog's Head for a meeting.
"Um... Hi! You all know why we're here. We need a teacher. A proper teacher. One who's had real experience defending themselves against the Dark Arts." Hermione speaks
" Why?"
" Why. Because You-Know-Who's back, you tosspot." Ron replies
They do the whole he says, no he says then someone mentions Cedric wanting to know about his death. Which of course Harry refuses to answer and try to leave but Hermione stops him.
" Is it true you can produce a patronus charm?" Luna speaks
" Yes. I've seen it."
" Blimey, Harry. I didn't know you could do that"
" And he killed a basilisk, with the sword in Dumbledore's office." Neville speaks up
" It's true."
" Third year he fought off about a hundred dementors at once." Ron speaks
" And last year he really did fight off You-Know-Who in the flesh." Hermione speaks
" Wait... look, it all sounds *great* when you say it like that. But the truth is most of that was just luck. I didn't know what I was doing half the time, I nearly always had help..." Harry finally speaks
" He's just being modest."
" No, Hermione, I'm not. Facing this stuff in real life is not like school. In school, if you make a mistake you can just try again tomorrow, but out there, when you're a second away from being murdered or watching a friend die right before your eyes... you don't know what that's like."
" You're right, Harry, we don't. That's why we need your help. Because if we're having any chance against beating... Voldemort."
" He's really back?" a second year asks
I join the cue and sign my name then I head back to the castle and make a start on my homework.
DA Meeting
"Is it placed?" Harry asks
"Yeah, he's gonna love it" I smirk as we make our way inside. Filch has been having a picnic whilst trying to 'catch' us so we decided to make it nicer for him and give him some chocolates and sweets. However, they're created by the twins which we all know won't end well.
"Expelliarmus" Neville shoots at me but nothing happens
"Keep trying, be more smooth with the wand movements"
"I'm holding you up learning other stuff"
"I'm not ditching you, I'm not doing anything until you get this right. I promise" I smile
Christmas – last DA meeting
"Ready to try again?" I smile to Neville
"Yeah but it won't work"
"Focus, remember not so rough on the movement. I know you can do it" I smile as Harry stands by
He nods ok and holds his wand out "Expelliarmus"
My wand fly out my hand landing by him
"You did it" I smile running over and hugging him
After we all leave me and Luna go back to the common room and finish off our homework before we go to bed.
