Allen and I are now boarding the plane. Our flight leaves in 45 minutes. I'm not too happy with the impending 13-hour flight, I don't like planes. They're stuffy and I feel bloated every time. The only silver lining is that it's night time and my body will be ready for some sleep, which I hope will be better this time. I haven't had a peaceful one since Josh left.

"Lexie?" I look at Allen who breaks my thoughts. "Stop overanalyzing your life!" He laughs as he hits me playfully on the head. "You've been like this for days, your mind is always wandering somewhere else! It's not even funny anymore!"

I stick my tongue out at him and  mimicked him talking as I make my way to find my seat. I don't want to argue anymore.

Josh left that night after we talked. He was supposed to stay until we leave but things got awkward and he decided it's best that he doesn't stay further. But before he left, we promised each other to stay in touch. We promised to look beyond the drama we have been involved in and value the friendship we have built for years. Easier said than done. Like how do you move on after so much tugging of the heart.

As for Harry, he's now somewhere in Asia. He hasn't called yet since we said our goodbyes two days ago. Since when did two days seem like an eternity? Truth be told, I wanted to call him, but no, I promised Josh I will be myself, and knowing me, I'm not someone who would go after guys like a crazy stalker who needs to be updated every second. If he doesn't want to call me, then fine. But I miss him so much already. Going back to my theories about him, I should add, Harry makes you crazy, period.

I pull out my phone as soon as I found my seat. I stare at the screen pondering whether I should call or not. I decided to listen to music instead.

Life must be playing tricks on me, as Where Do Broken Hearts Go plays randomly from my playlist. I stifled a laugh. Is this a sign? A wide smile is plastered on my face as I hear Harry's voice singing.

"You look so cute smiling," says a familiar voice near me. I turn to see who it is, and it's James!

"Oh hi! Are you in this flight, too? Wait that sounds stupid," I chuckle. Why do I say the silliest things when I'm in front of cute guys? "Nice to see you here."

"Mark asked me to go to Geneva. He did say you and your brother are in the same flight. We are going to the same meeting, I guess," he smiles and flashes me those deep set dimples, which reminds me of Harry.

"Where are you seated? Allen is there," as I point to the one in front of mine.

"Well, I'm here, pointing to the middle aisle, adjacent to where I am seated. "Which is why I saw you. Lucky me," he says flashing his dimples again.

"Yeah, at least we can continue our interrupted night out," I try to hide how flattered I am with what he just said. I can't be that gullible.

13 hours is a long time to be trapped in a plane. But good thing James was here. He made every minute worth it. We talked for hours and found out we had a lot in common. We talked nerd techie stuff and also some cool music stuff. Our conversations were seamless. We jumped from one topic to another as if we have known each other for so long. We just clicked. Allen got to talk to him a bit. Apparently they were both interested in MMA, and James wanted to train for that.

James was a breathe of fresh air from all the drama I had. For once I forgot all about the things that bothered me in the past days. I also got to sleep in peace. He lent me his iPad where a sleep app is loaded.
