When you could hear the phone ringing in your living room, you groaned. "Who the hell is calling now?" You muttered to yourself, quietly cursing whoever was forcing your sick self out of bed. Sniffling, you got up and made your way over there, praying they wouldn't hang up before you reached the phone.

Luckily, they didn't, so when you nasally greeted the caller, you could hear a cheery voice asking you about your plans for the day. "Freddie," you tried to interrupt your friend, but he just kept rambling. "Freddie!" You tried again a bit louder, which seemed to do the trick.

"Yes?" He curiously asked.

"Freddie my plans for the day are lying in bed and curing my cold, sorry to be a kill-joy." To underline your point, you sneezed violently a few times.

"Oh, poor you," he exclaimed, calming the muffled voices in the background and telling them what was going on.

You couldn't really understand what they were saying, but when Freddie spoke up again, you protested immediately. "No you shouldn't come over guys, really. I am disgusting and I don't want you to get sick."

But Freddie wouldn't be Freddie if he actually listened to you, so he told you to unlock the door because he an the guys would be over in a bit. Sighing you gave up and told him okay, because you knew you couldn't change his mind. Part of you was actually happy that they cared so much about you. Quickly, you wrote a note, telling them you'd be in the shower. You didn't want to be completely disgusting.

When you stepped out of the bathroom dressed in comfortable clothes, you were greeted by four smiling faces. "Hey Y/N!" They said.

"Hey guys, I'd give you a hug but-" You interrupted yourself by sneezing loudly a few times.

They all chuckled. "That's fine, dear. Lay down again, we're here to take care of you."

Even though you usually hated being fussed over, you had to admit that this time it was nice having people around you that cared for you when you were sick. The last time that was the case was when you were still living at home and your mum did all that she could to make you feel better.

This time you had four people who did exactly that. John and Brian had disappeared into the kitchen, after having found out that you haven't had proper food in a few days. They insisted on making chicken soup for you, since that always helped to cure colds. You gladly let them, looking forward to eating something else than take-out food.

Freddie wanted to run you a bath, even though you had just taken a shower. After the initial protests, you realised he wasn't going to take no for an answer, so you showed him how everything worked.

While you were waiting for the bath to be ready and the soup to be done, Roger had told you to lay face down on the couch, so he could give you a massage. You happily accepted that offer, because your neck muscles were awfully tense and Roger was damn good at giving massages. While his hands were loosening up your body, he told you a few stories about what had happened with the band lately, including funny and embarrassing stories from the last tour, which made you laugh. Sometimes, you would laugh so hard that you ended in a coughing fit, causing Roger to stop worriedly and quickly get you another cup of tea. You smiled at his thoughtfulness, appreciating the warm beverage he handed you, before continuing to take care of your muscles.

You were completely relaxed under his warm touch, when Freddie called out your name and told you to get in the bathroom, because he was done preparing the bath. A bit reluctantly, you got up, not really wanting Roger to stop with the massage, but he assured you he'd gladly continue another time. So you walked over to the bathroom and thanked Freddie, shooing him outside and locking the door as you let warm water envelope your body for a second time that day. Apparently, Freddie had put in some Eucalyptus-bubble bath to help you with your cold, because the smell filled your nose.

At some point, you must have dozed off, because you were woken by loud knocking on the bathroom door.

"Y/N? Are you okay in there?"

Slightly confused, you opened your eyes, taking in your surroundings. Since you didn't answer immediately, the knocking got louder and Freddie sounded much more worried.

"Okay, either you answer or we'll knock that door down, Y/N."

You chuckled, trying to imagine that. "I'm fine Freddie, I just dozed off. I'll be out in a bit." That answer satisfied him apparently, because you didn't hear more. Sighing, you got up and wrapped a towel around your body, drying yourself before putting your clothes back on. When you walked out of the bathroom, you could smell the soup John and Brian had prepared, which made your stomach growl loudly immediately.

All four of them chuckled when they heard that. "Sit down, Y/N, the soup is ready. We hope you'll like it," Brian smiled at you and pulled out a chair for you to sit on.

You gladly did as he asked you to, looking forward to eating something home-made. Brian filled your plate with soup, before you grabbed your spoon and started eating. "Oh wow, guys, this is really good! Thank you so much. How can I ever repay you?"

They all smiled happily at you, eating some soup themselves. "To be honest, just get healthy again soon, Y/N," Brian smiled at you warmly.

"We have a concert soon and we would like your support, so if you went with us there, that would be enough," Roger added.

You chuckled and nodded. "I'll gladly do that, but you know that. You still owe me that massage, Roger."

He chuckled and nodded. "Alright, Y/N, sure."

When you were done eating, you yawned extensively.

"Hey, Y/N, if you want to lie down, don't worry, we'll take care of the kitchen," John said, smiling warmly at you, but you shook your head. "No, I'll take care of that, you already did so much for me, you don't have to do that."

But Brian had already gotten up and taken your plate from you. "No, John, you have to put that differently. Y/N, go lay down on the couch or in your bed, we'll clean everything up. Don't you dare helping, you're sick and we're here to take care of you."

John chuckled at your face, but walked over to the couch with you, bringing you a blanket after you had laid down.

"Thanks John. Tell the others thank you as well, will you?"

He nodded and squeezed your hand as your eyes slowly fell shut. You drifted off to sleep, feeling much better already.
