Bonus Chapter

Lexi's POV

"So what Lucas is just holding the girl hostage at his apartment?" I asked Gio in disbelief.

"Its not called holding her hostage, its called protection or more like keeping her from spread confidential information" Gio responded.

"That's nonsense Gio and you know it. Lucas is holding her there as hostage because he's desperately in need of being in control and unleashing his 'powers' over someone. And unfortunately Amy happened to fall into that victims situation" I said doing air quotes around power. "I mean come on, the girl is traumatized. She witnessed her boyfriend being killed and then she herself was chased by the killers only to witnessed another murder? Not everyone can handle that well by being cooped up inside an apartment everyday".

"Exactly Lexi, if she can't cope with being restricted inside then if she goes out she's going to want to talk about it, then she goes blobbing to the first person she sees" Gio responded.

"I don't think she'd do that. She doesn't seem like the stupid type so why don't you guys stop underestimate her. You guys already booked her two friends into rehabilitation center, so who else is she going to blob to?" I asked.

"Probably anyone who will listen. Lexi she may not be stupid like that but in her state of grief and all there's no telling if she may feel the need to talk about it with someone else. We just can't take the risk, hence its better if she stays there".

" But maybe that's exactly what she needs " I said to him. "Maybe the talking and socialization is what she needs to help her get over things. Do you think being locked up in an apartment without socialization or anyone to council or talk with is going to help her case? You'll only be turning her into an hermit, it can drive her insane. If she's suffering from PTSD it can be really serious and damaging to her health by having her locked up there"

"When since did you became a doctor?" Gio asked.

"I don't need to be a doctor to know and understand these things Gio. I've been there before and trust me it isn't a nice feeling having no one to talk to or keeping things bottled up" I said to him. "She needs to be allowed to go out. You said she told her Mom? And her mom's in a nursing home for a heart condition isn't it?"

"Yes" Gio replied.

"Then don't you guys see the issue there? She's close with her mom and you're not only keeping her in but also separating the two that can be bad for both of them, Lucas needs to let her be free"

"What's got into you tonight?" Gio asked looking at me in surprised.

"I maybe ruthless at times Gio but I'm not completely heartless okay" I said to him. "I'm still human and I still understand other people's feelings. Tell Lucas that I'm coming to pick her up tomorrow, we're going out".

" Amor, she hardly knows you" Gio said to me. "Do you think she's going to be comfortable with that?"

"She hardly knows Lucas too yet she's stuck at his place. I'm sure she'll appreciate having someone to talk to and get her out of that hell hole" I said to him. "So just call him"

"Lexi, I dont think..." Gio started but I cut him off.

"Gio I don't give a damn about what you think. Call him now!" I said seriously again.

"Alright, alright" Gio said as he took up his phone and dialling.

"Lucas, tell Amy to get ready by..." Gio turned to me for a time confirmation.

"Ten" I smiled at him.

"Make sure she's ready by ten tomorrow morning, I think she needs a bit of socialization once again. Lexi will be with her" Gio said into the phone. "Yes, no questions just make sure she's ready okay".

"That is why I love you " I smiled at him as he hung up the phone. "You always seem to get my way of seeing things".

"Just be careful okay and don't lose the girl" Gio said to me.

"Please you're talking to me babe, you should know better" I said to him. "Anyway I've been meaning to ask you something".

"What is it?" Gio asked turning to face me fully.

"What do you think about Marc?" I asked biting my lip.

"Why?" Gio asked looking at me curiously.

"Gio, questions don't answer questions. I need a straight forward answer" I said to him.

"I'll give you a straight forward answer but with a question like that, which just came out of nowhere I need to know why you would asked me such a question" Gio replied.

"Look, things started off rough between us all and this whole stupid rivalry thing almost got us killed at some point but now things seem to be getting better. I mean you're now on speaking terms with Dominic and even doing business..." I started.

"Nothing was confirmed, I said I'd think about it first" Gio said cutting me off. "Its not a sure thing we'll be doing business together"

"Yeah well I'm confident that you will and it'd be a pretty good deal too you have to admit" I said to him. "But now that you're all starting to be somewhat civilized with each other, I'd just like for you to tell me, what do you think of Marc as a person?"

"Lexi, I still hardly know the guy. And it doesn't matter what happened I still think he and your brother are ass..." Gio began but I cut him off.

"Could you stop that? For once can't you just cut the crap put all this hatred and rivalry aside and tell me honestly what do you think of Marc as an individual?"

Jesus Lexi why can't you just accept my answer that..."

"You know you're really starting to irritate me Gio" I said seriously annoyed.

"Alright, fine. I hardly know much about the guy but I guess he seems like an alright guy differently. Maybe he's cool" Gio responded.

"Thank you. So do you think that it's possible that he and you may even become friends sometime, and Dominic as well. I mean do you think you could maybe put the past behind and become friends one day?" I asked him.

"I guess it could be possible one day" Gio replied. "Why do you asked that?"

"Okay, well good because that means you probably won't have an issue with him being your brother" I said fast.

"What!? What are you talking about?" Gio asked paying full attention to me now.

"Oh nothing really babe, just that your sister is dating Marc- exclusively" I said to him.

"WHAT!?"
