KAYLE
After meeting with the school staffs for a briefing, we finally found a cozy room to stay.
Good thing the rooms are by year levels—regardless of the gender, so we didn't have to separate.
And luckily, the activities will start tomorrow. We're tired up for today.
"Okay we have five beds, settle yourselves," Wade said when we entered the room.
I looked around. It looks good. It's pretty wide, with five beds all lined up side by side. There's one closet, a bathroom and it's centralized aircon.
Wade picked the bed nearest to the door. Next to him is Cielo. Okay I'll be staying beside Cielo's be---.
"I'll be in the middle," Cal said and slumped himself into the mid-most bed.
"Cal! Ako diyan," I pulled his feet.
He laughed. "Don't wanna."
"Cal!" I shouted.
"Stay beside my bed, babe," he said, in a sleepy voice.
He seems to be tired. Well, I'm sure he is. He drived for like, 10 hours.
I sighed. "Fine."
I arranged my bags on the closet and set myself up on the bed. I feel exhausted.
I looked at my right side. There's Logan's bed. He's lying down, staring at the ceiling.
Wade spoke and caught our attention. "Guys. I'll just go get dinner," he said and fixed himself.
"Samahan na kita," Cielo said and picked herself up.
Wade smiled. "Okay."
They both went out and left me grinning.
Dumapa ako sa kama at humarap kay Cal.
"Cal," tawag ko.
"Hmm?" sagot niya at humarap sa akin, nakahiga pa rin.
"Bagay si Cielo at Wade."
Nagkibit-balikat siya. "Oo. Pero mas mahal pa ni Wade ang basketball kaysa sa anong bagay."
Kumunot ang noo ko. "Hindi naman siguro."
"Wala pa siyang sineryosong babae," biglang salita ni Logan.
Tumingin kami sa kaniya.
"Talaga?" tanong ko at umupo, para makita nila ng maayos ang isa't isa.
Tumingin siya sa amin.
"Mukha bang hindi?" emotionless niyang tanong.
Umirap ako. "Oo."
"It's true, babe," sabi naman ni Cal.
I sighed. "I still want him for my bestfriend though."
Cal chuckled.
I shrugged.
I stood up and stretched. "I'm so tired."
"Get some sleep babe," Cal said.
I looked at him, and immediately gulped.
He was lying on his bed, one hand below his head. Staring straight at me. His hair is pretty messed up.
He looked hot for the first time since I don't know when.
"You're drooling," he said.
"What?!" I immediately got back to my senses. "You wish."
