KAYLE

"Sis," Cielo called out.

"Hmm?"

"Kawawa naman 'yung manok oh," sabi niya at tinuro ang plato ko.

Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay, "What? Wala naman akong ginagawa sa manok ah?"

It's not like I've been unconsciously torturing my meal.

She laughed. "Wala lang! Kawawa naman kasi siya, kanina mo pa 'di ginagalaw."

Wade heard us, he's beside Cielo. "Oh Kayle? Ayaw mo ba ng pagkain? Magpapaluto na lang ako ng iba. Anong---."

"No, Wade. Ang sarap nga---."

"You didn't even taste it," Logan said, with his poker face again.

I heard Cielo and Wade laughed.

I shifted my gaze on Wade. "I swear it's fine, Wade. Sumakit lang tiyan ko but now I'm okay."

He nod, "Sure?"

I smiled. "Yeah."

"Eat."

I looked at Logan and rolled my eyes.

In a table, here's Logan, then me, beside me is Cielo and then Wade. On the other side is Tristan, Cal, and then Mia.

It's true that my stomach really had a bad time earlier, watching this two love birds in front of me. I feel a wave of nausea, eew. I can't take my eyes off them as Mia giggles when Cal reached the food for her--and even put some on her plate.

I started eating when Logan suddenly put some steak on my plate, I was about to protest when he winked.

My eyes widened in shock.

"What?" I hissed, staying out of the others' earshot.

"So you won't look stupid," he said and excused himself.

I looked at his plate, oh well he's done.

I continued eating, just listening to my friends' talks and jokes.

After a while, I excused my self and followed Logan.

"Logan?" I called out.

Luckily, only Wade's house maids are here, his parents aren't home yet.

"What?" I heard a voice from the kitchen.

I went straight over the hall and caught him cooking something.

"What's that?" I asked and went near him.

He's wearing an apron and his hair is pretty messed up.

The maids didn't bother to stop him.

"Sanay na kami sa barkada ni sir Wade," they only said and laughed.

"It's called pasta," he said as-a-matter-of-factly.

I walked beside him and looked. "Oh. Magluluto ka?"

He looked at me, his eyes still emotionless. "What do you think I'll with the---."

"Oka---," I tried to cut him off.

"Well I can wrap it around Mia's neck if you want," he said, now he's grinning.

I can't help but laugh. "You're insane!" I kept on laughing while he continued his work.

"No, not really. Not as insane as you," he said innocently.

I punched him playfully. "I'm not insane."

"What, just mentally ill?"

No matter how he say those irritating words, I still can't help but laugh.
