Midday sets in, as a pair of Colonial Agents enjoy a smoke off to the side of the paved road, leaving their unmarked SUV unattended.
Approaching the vehicle, the Prodigy remotely hacks into their communications, calling their attention to a nearby shooting in progress.
The two men take off, to the indicated location, leaving the vehicle beyond their line of sight.
The Prodigy enters into the middle section of the SUV, replicating its conscience into the vehicle's software.
Though the only occupant was him in the rear middle seat, the vehicle starts up its engine and begins to drive off into the streets.
Determined to apprehend the sole survivor of the psycorp attack, Adiel, the robotic individual proceeds to the location discussed earlier.
The SUV travels through the rich urban roads, inhabited by various cars and professional dressed citizens.
Continuing past the city limits, the vehicle enters onto an interstate highway.
With a lack of traffic, the SUV speeds though the vast stretch of road.
Running calculations on the distance between him and Adiel, the prodigy concludes he will need to find another means of transportation to reach the former Psycorp security worker before he could be apprehended by the colonial enforcement.
Running a scan of all active vehicles in a 500 kilometer radius, the robotic individual finds an active aircraft, specifically a military transport helicopter.
The prodigy takes the nearby exit to bring him towards a rural area where he could intercept this aircraft.
Noticing the helicopter approaching the interception point the robotic being releases a false distress warning.
From the pilot's perspective he sees his dashboard interface light up in neon red, warning his of a fuel leaks and engine damage.
He brings the helicopter to an immediate emergency landing in a grassy plane.
All aboard the craft dismount, taking 360 degree security.
Converging towards the landing site, the prodigy exits the vehicle.
Just as he steps out the vehicle, on its own, performs a three point turn before returning to where it originally resided.
The robotic being emits a light based hologram around itself, disguising itself as a military registered mechanic, in grey urban colored fatigues, similar to that of their uniform.
Just as the infantry take notice to the approaching man, they see before them a familiar repairman.
They give no resistance as he continues towards the craft, hoping that he would fix their damaged helicopter.
He boards the craft, instantly copying its conscious into the helicopter's electronics system.
The rotors spoil up once again. Yet before the infantry and pilot could re-enter the craft, the helicopter takes off, leaving them behind.
One of the men raises their rifles, releasing several shots, only to have his weapon forced down by his squad leader.
"That's still our bird.", he corrects the rifleman.
The team members of the squad turn to one another not knowing what to do.
The squad lead distances himself, calling in over radio for allied forces to assist with apprehending the stolen helicopter.
Having copied his conscious into the aircraft, the prodigy allows the helicopter to operate autonomously, while he occupies the passenger area, continuing his search for the missing security worker.
Reviewing the Colonial Agency logs he uncovered from remotely hacking into their database, he pulls up the information relevant to Adiel's last known supervisor, Conrad.
He had already managed to copy and replicate his voice, yet if he were to convince the former Psycorp Prodigy to come with him, he would have to have the attendance of his supervisor.
Being that the supervisor, named Conrad, was taken into custody by the Agency, and went missing soon after, as result from a woodland terrorist attack, the Prodigy comes to the conclusion that he would be the closest contact to Adiel in regards to the hostility between Psycorp and The Colonial Agency.
Sharing his train of thought with the helicopters newly installed artificial intelligence, that being a digital copy of the prodigy's conscious, the craft veers from its current course to the last known location of the convoy containing Conrad.
Approaching the backwoods territory, the prodigy finds himself being tracked and pursued by a pair of military grade attack helicopters.
From the internal speakers of the communications module a deep male voice calls out, "Land Immediately."
The prodigy having no interest in complying with their demands, concocts a plan to evade them.
Hacking into the electronics of the pursuing helicopters he manages to acquire control of their optics and weapon systems.
He disables their weapons, both their lock on missiles, and nose cannon, before creating a psychedelic illusion through their digitally connected visors.
Similar to how bacteria multiplies, the helicopter before them seems to split into two, then four, and so on.
This combined with their radar lights up with numerous aircraft readings, causes the pilots to seconds guess their superiority over their intended prey.
Before them they now see a swarm of transport helicopters, identical to the one they were after.
This swarm converges into them, leaving the pilots fearing for their lives, as a head on collision was imminent.
The pilots make their best attempts to steer away from the oncoming helicopters.
As the aircraft before them collides, the pilots notice an unusual occurrence. The bodies of these helicopters pass straight through them, as if they were ghosts.
Relieved at the time, for realizing that they were not going to experience the collision, the pilots try to gather their bearings.
The ghostly collisions continue. Several at a time, these light projections of the aircraft phase through them, some even turning around to perform this false collision again.
At this point the pilots are unsure of their altitude, and become concerned for a possible crash towards the ground.
Both pull up into higher into the sky, still visually overwhelmed by the swarm that blinded them.
In a sudden instant, the swarm dissipates. The pilots regain their bearings, however, their target is now beyond their line of sight.
One pilots looks to the other, unsure on how to proceed, with their target now completely missing from all detection or tracking apparatus.
"Eagle Seven to nest, message over."
"This is Nest, send it."
"Suspect is missing, unable to trace its movement."
The radio chatter pauses for a moment before the base operator sends a singular instruction.
"Eagle seven and eight, return to base. Nest out."
Setting a waypoint for their base, the two aviators turn their craft to return from where they came.
