The light gets brighter, unbearably brighter, but I couldn't care less; I felt her twitch, I know I did not imagine that. I put my two fingers on her pulse, it was dead, not one beat, but that did not make me loose hope. I randomly start giving thanks to anyone, any God that comes to mind. I grab hold of her hand; her hands are cold before, but now they are warm; Happiness burst from my chest.
The light immediately goes away.
I reach down and put my head on her chest, praying to feel a heartbeat. nothing.
I put my two fingers on her neck, feeling for a pulse. nothing.
I reach for her hands, feeling for some type of warmth. cold.
A tear slip from my eyes and lands on her cheeks.
