---Hussain's POV ---

"Aitki November ton goriye
Roti jatt di pakaya karengi," I sang while making my lunch.

I managed to burn my finger in the process. See, this is why I like to eat out. I'm not the one getting burned.

My phone went off and it was my calendar saying the project is due tomorrow.

Oh f*ck! I thought it was finished but I guess not.

I quickly texted got my partner to see if she was available to work on it.

Guess who replied? Well, definitely not her.

---Text---

H-- hey. Are u free?

A-- it's Aakash & u have spent enough time with her. Leave her alone. I know your past.

H-- We have a project tomorrow 😑

A-- Should've worked on it during the weekend.

H-- Why don't you grow up and we can deal with this face to face?

A--Time and place?

---End text ---

I put my phone away after that and didn't even care to eat.

I've never been this jealous of a guy and the girl, she's technically not even my girl.

I got a phone call a few minutes later and it had her name on it but considering who was texting me I ignored it.  However, it just kept going off so I answered.

"Hello," I said.

"I'm so sorry about Aakash. He's really protective of me," she said.

"Ya, I've noticed," I said.

"So you want to work on the project?" She asked.

"Oh ya. If your highness allows it," I replied.

"Text me your address. I'll be over soon," she said.

"He'll murder me if you come over here," I said.

"Just trust me," she said.

"I do," I said.

We hung up and I messaged my address to her.

She better delete that before he sees it.

I felt better after talking to her, so I was able to have my food. Right when I was done with the dishes the doorbell rang.

"Come on in," I said.

"Thanks," she said. "I brought my laptop and the textbook, but I think we are just about done."

"I think so," I said. "Have a seat, I'll get my stuff."

With that I left.

---Arya's POV ---

I put my stuff down and looked around.

I picked up a picture that I was lying there. I wonder who these people are.

It's probably his family, he says he moved away to attend college. Kind of like how I did.

I heard him clear his throat and quickly put the picture away.

"Sorry," I said.

"It's okay," he said.

"Don't you miss them?" I asked.

"Sometimes," he said.

"You should visit them," I said.

"We should do are our work," he said switching the topic.
