They blamed the fact that they'd all gone to the theater to go see the movie, but they all knew that wasn't it. Nathan and Claire just kinda tented to do whatever the fuck they wanted to.

So when Nathan called to Claire while taking the head off an experimental Hydra Robot, they all knew that they where about to get a show.

"Hey, Claire! Can I say something crazy?" Nathan called.

"Hey, I love crazy!" Claire called back, drawing another arrow and shooting an actual soldier in the leg.

"All my life has been a series of doors in my face. And then suddenly I bump into you." Nathan sang, much to the displeasure of Tony and Steph who where silently praying that they'd focus back on their mission.

Claire laughed. "I was thinking the same thing, cause like, I've been searching my whole life to find my own place." She back-hand-springed over a few soldiers and grinned at Nathan. "And maybe it's the party talking or the chocolate fondue." She wiped a trail of blood off Nathan's cheek with her finger.

It was Nathan's turn to laugh, as he shot three more soldiers. "But with you," and Claire chimed in with the appropriate echo.

"I found my place." "I see your face." They grinned mischievously at each other.

"And it's nothing like I've ever known before. Love is an open door!" They both moved in sync, punching some guards and taking out six more soldiers.

Beth, Thor, Tony, and Steph rolled their eyes and made quick work of their guards as Claire and Nathan continued on.

"Love is an open door! Life can be so much more! With you, with you, with you, with you! Love is an open door!" They both spun around to face each other with matching smiles that promised so many things that would be fulfilled once the mission was over.

"Oh great. There's more." Claire deadpanned, her sass ever promising.

Nathan just laughed and pulled his girlfriend back over. "I mean it's crazy."

"What?" Claire asked, nocking another arrow and shooting out four guards.

"We finish each others-" Claire cut Nathan off.

"Sandwiches!" She exclaimed, shooting five arrows into one super soldier.

"That's what I was gonna say!" Nathan exclaimed, hitting the same soldier with seven bullets, then reloading and hitting him with three more.

"I've never met someone who," Claire began and Nathan joined in, "Thinks so much like me. Jinx, jinx again!" They cried, linking pinky fingers, then Nathan grabbed Claire's wrists and threw her into a spinning kick that she landed and returned to stand back-to-back with Nathan, fighting while doing some sort of odd robot dance.

"Our mental synchronization can have but one explanation." Nathan show a Widow's Bite at three guards and Claire took out four soldiers with seven arrows.

"You and I where just meant to be!" They alternated the words between them until the last three words.

Then they faced each other, and linked their hands, Nathan's other resting at Claire's waist and Claire's on Nathan's shoulder. "Say goodbye, to the pain of the past. We don't have to feel it anymore. Love is an open door!" Claire was spun out, effectively kicking a guard in the face and then pulled back in and dipped, where Nathan snarled at another soldier and punched him in the face.

"Love is an open door. Life can be so much more! With you, with you, with you, with you! Love is an open door!" They laughed as they sang, but Nathan's eyes would darken at anyone who got two close and Claire would shoot an arrow almost too close to the guards' lower regions when they'd start to gang up on the pair.

When the battle was over, Nathan dropped to one knee in front of Claire and took her hand. "Can I say something crazy?" He asked softly, emerald eyes meeting blue-grey.

Claire giggled and nodded. So Nathan pulled a small blue, velvet box from his pocket. "Will you marry me?" He asked.

Surprise flitted over Claire's face, but she wasn't a top assassin and agent for nothing, so she quickly collected herself and, with a smile of joy still on her face, replied. "Can I say something even crazier?" She asked. "Yes!" She cried, dropping to her knees and flinging her arms around his neck.

Their performance was somehow caught on film and posted to YouTube. It got 100,000 hits within the first hour and Tony, Steph, Thor, and Beth still watch it and laugh.
