This is an AU with no SHIELD, more like high school AU. Thor is a human and named after the Norse god of thunder, Steve was in an accident that put him in a coma where he was mostly brain dead so he didn't grow or get older, but he did live and breath, and Nathan did extreme gymnastics and mixed martial arts, he wasn't trained by the Red Room.

Take me out to the ball game.

Nathan Romanoff, Steve Rogers, and Thor Odinson sat in a bar looking around for a couple girls.

Steve pointed to a young girl with dark curls and brown eyes. Nathan grinned, "Go for it."

Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing. Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing.

Steve stood and began walking over, blue eyes determined as he ran a hand through his blonde hair to fix it up quickly. Then he slid in next to the woman and smiled, "Hey."

Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing. Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing.

The girl nods back with mischief in her eyes, "Hi." A coy smirk tugged at her lips.

Strike one. Hey baby do you come here often?

"You come here often?" Steve asked, smile still in place.

The girl nodded, "Sure do, you don't though. I'd remember a face like yours."

Strike two. Hey baby now what's your sign?

"What's your sign, doll?" He cocked his head, curiously, eyebrows drawing together.

"Sorry, honey, that's not gonna get you anywhere. Pity though, you're pretty cute," She smiled and patted his cheek, hopping of the stool and laying a twenty on the bar.

Strike three. Hold on, now, where you going?

"Now, wait a second, where are you going?" Steve asked, putting a hand out to stop her.

The girl smiled, "Don't worry, cutie, we can still be friends. Name's Peggy Carter, here's my number, but I'm afraid you aren't my type." The girl, Peggy, handed Steve a card and kissed his cheek. "Call me later," She smiled.

Jimmy's out, next in line.

Steve slunk back over looking hurt, but he pocketed the card, expression hopeful, "You're up, Thor." he sighed. Well, at least we can still be friends.

Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing. Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing.

Thor nodded and patted his shoulder, spying a pretty brunette on the dance floor. "Her." He jerked his chin towards her.

Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing. Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing.

The blonde man fixed his collar and headed for the dance floor as Nathan patted Steve shoulder. Neither noticed the younger brunette eyeing Steve from the bar. She grinned.

First base. Why yes I went to Harvard.

Thor smiled at the brunette. "Hello, miss."

The brunette smiled back. "Collage student. You go to Harvard?" She asked, pointing to the jacket on his shoulders.

"Yes, I did."

Safe. I majored in pre-med.

"Major?" The girl asked placing her hands at Thor's shoulders and sway with him to the beat.

"Astrology." Thor replied.

Picked off. Just stayed for one semester.

"Got your degree?"

"Only stayed one year."

"Sorry, buddy. You're just not right." The brunette sighed. "Look me up though, I'd love to talk. My name's Jane Foster." She let go and went over to another girl kissing a black haired boy.

Tom's out, who's next?

Thor pouted slightly as he walked back over. Nathan smiled sympathetically. "Sorry, boys." He sighed.

Thor shrugged, "There's others."

Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing. Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing.

Nathan smirked as a younger blonde walked in. Oh, she looked promising. Thor sighed, and another girl with brown curls and glasses looked him over from across the room.

Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing. Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing.

The two girls looked at each other from across the room, then at the blonde girl and she made eye contact as she nodded to each of them.

Swing it now.

The blonde girl approached Nathan and smiled. The girl with curls and glasses made eye contact with Thor and beckoned him over with a grin. The girl with brown hair strode right over to Steve and sat down right next to him with a mischievous smirk. "Hey, cutie."

Everybody strikes out nine times out of ten. But you gotta step up to the plate, son, because every now and then.

Fast ball. She walked right up to me.

The brown haired girl winked as Steve looked at her. "Hey, boy. What's your name?" She asked and Steve fell in love with the sound of her voice.

Here's the pitch. Said can I take you home?

Thor smiled as the the girl with glasses extended her hand. "Bethany Banner. Can I take you home?" she inquired and Thor swore he'd never moved so fast in his life.

There's a dive. Hey, boys I'll see you later.

Nathan stopped in front of the blonde and she smiled as she kissed his cheek. "You're really cute, you know?" She asked and Nathan found himself falling even harder.

This could be it... it is! Going, going, going, gone!

Steve followed the brunette out to her car. "Toni, sweetheart, you sure?" He asked.

"Baby, if I wasn't, I'd never have walked over." Toni replied.

Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing. Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing.

"Yes, I do agree, Beth." Thor smiled at the smaller, shy girl and she giggled.

"Honey, you and me'll get along just fine." She grinned.

Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing. Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing.

"Mmm." Nathan hummed against Claire's lips. "Damn, Rissa, you're pretty good."

Claire smiled, winking at the ginger boy. "Not so bad yourself, Nate."

Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing. Swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing batter batter, swing.

Swing.
