She looks so pretty with no makeup on. You should hear her talking to her mama on the phone.

Ben was honestly amazed at how beautiful Reed looked when she was running around the lab wearing no makeup what so ever. Her voice was soft and alluring, even when she talked to her mother on the phone.

I love it when she raps to an Eminem song. That's my girl.

Most thought that Reed would listen to classic or jazz. Nope. As much as she loved them, most of the time, it was rap she listened to. Especially Eminem. This was Ben's girl.

Man, her eyes really drive me crazy. You should see her smile when she holds a baby.

Those beautiful, big brown eyes she had, coupled with that smile when she holds onto a young child thrust at her by another mother who thought that having a superhero hold their child was fun. Oh, Ben just couldn't believe it. He smiled thinking about it. They drove him insane.

I can honestly say that she saved me. My girl.

Reed had saved him. The sixteen year old was literally right out of collage, and having gone through all of this was especially painful for her, because she was wanted desperately to be a scientist, but no one would take her seriously with her powers.

Ben had been ready to cut his losses, destroy their friendship, and throw himself off a cliff to keep her from him, but after Debbie had given him back the ring... She leaned down and picked it up, placing it in his hand, when he couldn't with a promise to get him back to "Ben" again.

For all of a month, that was all he wanted.

Then he gave Reed the ring and they became lovers. His girl.

Yeah, that's my girl in the passenger seat. Windows down, dancing around, causing a scene.

That was his girl in the passenger seat of his van (Reed had found a way to make it so Ben could switch between human and Thing form. She was thanked very much for that) singing along to the radio with the windows down.

His girl dancing in the middle of the crowd, having fun (after a few glasses) and causing a scene.

That's my girl, sipping Crown and Sprite. In a ball cap, turned back, ooh, she got me like

His girl sipping on Sprite and Crown, wearing a ball cap backwards. Oh, Ben could just see all the boys jealous that she was going home with him and not them.

Yeah, baby girl, you went and done it again. Making all the guys wish that you were with them. But I bet they don't see what I see when I see my girl.

Yep, Reed had done it again, making all the boys want her by just being herself. Ben would bet his life that they didn't see what he saw. They only saw the strong and passionate fighter Miss Fantastic was made up to be. They never saw the panic attacks, or stitches, or bruises.

Oh, my girl.

They didn't see Ben's girl.

Every night when she goes to bed. She hits her knees and bows her head. Thanks the Lord for another day. I just thank Him for my girl.

Reed wasn't a devoted Christan, not at all, but she did pray every night after the lights where out. She'd hit her knees and bow her head and thank Him for another day. Ben just thanked Him for the beauty that was his girl.

Yeah, that's my girl in the passenger seat. Windows down, dancing around, causing a scene. That's my girl, sipping Crown and Sprite. In a ball cap, turned back, ooh, she got me like. Yeah, baby girl, you went and done it again. Making all the guys wish that you were with them. But I bet they don't see what I see when I see my girl.

It was Ben's girl rushing around the lab making quadruple sure everything was perfect. Ben's girl dancing around with him in the privacy of their apartment while she laughed and let him coax her into an early bed time.

Anytime Reed went out, she turned heads, making every boy in the place (including Jonny Storm) wish that she was going home with them.

They didn't see what was underneath the smiles and laughs.

Ben's girl.

Yeah, that's my girl. In my truck, in the songs that I sing with the radio up.

Ben's girl in his truck singing with the radio, rapping with Eminem, harmonizing with Carrie Underwood, and her voice melodic when she sang the stories of Laura Story.

My girl. In my heart, in my soul and the air that I breathe every day.

Ben's girl in his heart and soul and curling up in the air that Ben breathed daily.

That's my girl. Yeah, everything. My girl.

Ben's everything was all wrapped up in one curly haired, dark eyed, hyperactive package.

Ben knew that the other boys didn't see the exhausted, sleep deprived genius that had frequent nightmares and got herself tied into a knot in the sheets at night.

Nor did they see the perfectionist that had panic attacks in the mornings when she did wake up with her hands tied up and she thought she'd been kidnapped again.

Oh, my girl.

This was Ben's girl. And he didn't intend to giver her away to anyone else.

That's my girl.
