Denmark x Male Reader (Christmas Special)

Right now you were ice skating. It was a beautiful winter evening, so you had decided to spend it down by the lake.

A couple of other guys had gotten the same idea. They were about five. The one you noticed the most was a very loud blond, skating around with a thick black coat. 

After about an hour the guys were about to leave. You could hear them saying it was starting to get cold, and they wanted to go home. Although the loud blonde decided to stay.

You didn't really have any plans for the evening, so you would probably just go home in an hour or so.

You kept skating around and nothing really happened. Suddenly your friend Kiku called. You had borrowed some manga from him a couple days ago, and he was trying to convince you into watching the anime. As you were about to answer you phone, something bumped into you. Or rather someone. 

The loud blonde had apparently being trying to get in contact with you from across the lake. Since you hadn't answered him, he skated over to you, and sadly a little too fast. You fell, dropping your phone, and taking him down with you. He just laughed. You guessed he didn't hurt himself, as he quickly got up, reaching a hand out for you to take. You tried standing up, but failed miserably, and fell back down. "Ow" You whispered slightly under you breath. He proceeded to try and help you up, with ended with him taking of both his and your skates to get you standing. Or you couldn't call it standing. You were using him as a crutch. You had learned that the man was named Matthias. He was very funny too.

"Hey (M/N), let's go sit over there, okay?" He asked, pointing to a bench with some stuffed on it that you guessed were his. As you made your way to the bench, you finally got to sit down. Matthias sat down beside you, but didn't remove his hand from under your shoulder. "I'm cold" You stated, making him look at the thin excuse for a coat you had been wearing. "I can warm you if you want?" He asked looking down at you letting you (E/C) orbs meet his drooping blue ones. You nodded, making him bring you closer to him, for his body heat to spread onto you. 

"Matthias, I can't get home.." You said as you continued "I walked here. And I live quite far away.." You looked at him for some kind of answer. He gave you a big smile and told you "Aw, (M/N). If you want I can bring you back to my place? We could watch a movie.. Maybe..?" He sounded a little like he was questing his own question at that moment. "I came here by car, so I can also drive you home if you want? I would just rather take you with me home.." He continued smiling, only this time it looked smaller and a bit kinder. "I would like to go back to your place. A movie sounds great" You smiled back at him laughing a little. "Besides I have nothing to do at home, but feel bad for my self" Both of you laughed a bit. "Oh, I almost forgot about you leg. How is your leg?" He proceeded with touching your knee. "It was your knee right? That you hurt?" You flinched a bit when he kept touching it, but nodded and mumbled a yes. 

"Let's get going!" Matthias said, helping you up. You started walking across the lake. "I'm sorry I bumped into you" He said. It was nice he apologized, but you liked it better when he helped you afterwards. That's a real nice apology. You told him. 

As you reached his car, he helped you into the car before going in himself. Beside him being very loud and talkative, he was actually really kind and caring. You stated driving in almost silence, as you could hear his radio playing a danish song.

"I have a lot of brothers" He stated, trying to start up conversation. "Four to be exact. They can be very loud, so I just wanted you to know" He said. "They probably all gone to bed when we get home, but I just wanted you to know that they're there" He added. "I don't mind. I have three siblings myself" You smiled "Although I don't live with them. They live in Germany actually. And in Austria" 

"Did you move here then?" He asked. "Yeah, my oldest brother got married about a year ago, to this nice sweet Hungarian woman" You were showing it with your hands, making Matthias laugh a little, because you looked so interested and focused about the subject. 'You must really love your brothers, huh?' Although it was only a thought, it was like you read it. "I really love my brothers" You said. "I want a boyfriend too, just like my youngest big brother" You said, looking in your lap. Matthias could feel you felt a little uncomfortable, and tense. To make you feel a little more comfortable he added "I really want a boyfriend too" before stopping the car, going out to help you out.

You were quick to find you way into his house. It smelled like gingerbread and another little cookie like thing that you found on the kitchen table. "What do you call these?" You asked holding one up. "In danish they're called 'brunkager', you can have one if you want. My brother Tino baked them for me".

Matthias was walking around finding blankets and other kind of things to keep you warm. You saw him dump them on the couch. "Come let me help you" He said, now taking your hand instead of under your shoulder. "I'll get you something to put your foot on, and then i'll make us some hot chocolate, If that's okay?" You nodded and smiled. He was just so sweet. And he gave you little butterflies in your stomach. 

When he came bag he had brought two cups of hot chocolate with him. In the cups where also little marshmallows an a little candy cane hanging on the edge. It looked delicious!

"Thank you, Matthias. It looks great!" You said reaching out to take the cup. "Alright!" He said. "What movie do you wanna watch?" He asked taking a sip of his drink. 

Matthias was cuddled up in blankets, and he just looked adorable with his big grin.

"Do you have 'The nightmare before christmas'?" You asked. It was your favourite christmas movie. "Yeah, we can watch that" He continued "I've got it right heeere" He said reaching for it, and finder it under the coffee table. He then got up, and put the movie on. As the movie started playing on the screen of the television, Matthias placed a stool under your leg, along with a pillow. "Thank you" You said. 

"Can we cuddle?" Matthias asked, laying down on the couch again. 

"Sure" You said, moving closer to him, placing your head on his chest. You noticed his heartbeat. It was beating fast, just like your own. Your hand made it's way to his chest, as you felt his heartbeat now with your hand. You then took his hand and placed it on your own chest, for him to feel your heartbeat. "Your heart is beating fast" He stated. "Yeah just like yours" You looked up at him. "Why?" He asked "What does it mean?" You smiled at him. "It mean I like you a lot" Your (E/C) eyes filled with care, and love. "Good" He then leaned down and kissed you forehead. " Jeg kan også godt lide dig" He said in his native tongue. You ended up spending the rest of the night falling asleep.
