Chapter 50

Sorry this update is so late, I've had company over all day and my parents kept telling my to get off my computer. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ZAYN MALIK FOR MY DIRECTIONERS OUT THERE!!!! And Happy Birthday to my sister here on wattpad @bvbarmygirl12 She's been waiting for this all day and I'm sorry I kept you waiting!!! This chapter is a little shorter than I wanted it to be but I hope the next chapter will make up for it. Here's chapter 50!!!!

We were sitting down on the couches planning out tonight when we heard someone walk through the door. “Hello Darry.” Blaze and I said at the same time. I noticed he was carrying a bouquet of flowers. “Adri, Ani, and Red, this is Darry, Pony and Soda’s older brother. Darry this is Red, Ani, and Adri.” Blaze said and he nodded at them. “Darry, who are the flowers for?” I asked. He looked at me. “No one.” He stated simply and walked into the kitchen. “Don’t you lie to me, Darry.” I said and followed him. I saw that they were roses, they type of flowers you give to a girl on a date. Well in all the movies I’ve seen they’re roses. I gasped, “Darry, are you going on a date?” His cheeks got a little red and Blaze and I looked at each other. We grabbed each other’s hands and jumped around in a circle squealing. “Shut the fuck up.” Darry said and we stopped. “Darrel Curtis, don’t you use that tone with me.” I said and put my hands on my hips and looked up at him. He glared down at me, “Don’t you give me that look.” I said and pointed up at him. “Who’s older?” He asked and I shrugged, “You, so that doesn’t matter I can blackmail you like that.” I snapped my fingers to prove my point. Darry narrowed his eyes at me, “How so?” I looked down and shrugged and then looked back up at him face. “Well I don’t know, the boys could possibly find out that you’re going on a date.” I said and he tensed up a little. “Don’t tell them. I would never hear the end of it.” Darry rolled his eyes. “Okay I won’t tell them. Run along to your date, she’s probably waiting for you. Oh, the girls and I are going out tonight, we will probably be back by the time you get back from your date.” I said and he looked at us suspiciously. “Where are y’all going?” He asked. “Relax, Darrel we aren’t going to go mess with the Socs or the hoods down town. We’re just going to help Ani get some of her stuff back.” Blaze said and Darry just nodded. “Don’t get into trouble. Pony and Dally wouldn’t like it too much.” He said and looked at Blaze and I. “Us…” I said with sarcasm. Blaze finished, “Never…” Then all the girls and I gave him a sweet smile. “Okay, sure… Bye guys.” He said and left in his truck. We sat back down and waited for the boys to arrive to start getting ready. The boys got home around eight o’clock and we sat and talked a little bit. It was quite loud in the living room. With Soda and Steve, playing cards and arm wrestling, Ani was cheering on Soda and Adri was cheering on Steve. Two-Bit was watching Mickey Mouse on TV and Blaze was talking with Dally and Johnny. Ponyboy led me away from the noise and into his room and we lay on the bed starring up at the ceiling. We left the light off so it was almost dark in the room except for the moon light shining on the floor. Our fingers were intertwined. “We need to go on out first date soon; I mean we’ve been dating for a while now.” He said and I looked at him. “Well do you got any ideas on where we should go?” I asked and rolled onto my side. He looked at me. “On New Year’s Eve there is gonna be a party at my school, with like sports games and dancing and stuff like that. How ‘bout that be our first date?” He asked and I thought for a second. “Sure, why not? It’s not normal, sounds fun, and isn’t that cheesy. I like it.” I said and we smiled at each other. Pony kissed me on the nose. “I love you.” He said. “I love you too.” I said and we smiled at each other. I rolled onto my other side as someone opened the door so I could see who it was. “Jen, we should probably start getting ready soon. It’s almost ten.” Blaze said. “Alright, get the girls in here.” I said and stood up. Pony remained on the bed. “Pony, you have to leave.” I said and he rolled off the bed. “Okay, where are you guys going?” He asked. “We’re helping Ani get her stuff back.” I explained and he nodded and walked out as the girls all filed in. Red closed the door and flicked on the desk lamp. Ani helped Blaze pass out the clothes and we all got changed quickly. I adjusted my beanie in the mirror and turned around and smirked at the other girls who were all dressed the same. “Let’s roll.” I said and we all smirked at each other. I walked out of the room and all the guys turned to me. “Damn…” I heard Pony say and I saw his eyes widen. Dally and Soda began to tease him until Blaze and Ani walked up behind me. “Damn…” They both muttered and I saw their eyes widen also. Dally’s at Blaze and Soda’s at Ani. “See it ain’t so funny when it’s the girl you like, is it?” Pony asked and I looked at them. “We’ll be back in a bit.” I said and grabbed my board and walked towards the door. “Where’re y’all goin’?” Johnny asked. “We’re helping out Ani, we’ll be back before midnight.” Adri explained and we continued towards the door. Each of us had a duffle bag as we exited the house. I hopped on my board and skated slowly so the girls could keep up with me. Ani was directing us to her house and all I could think about was how awesome this was going to be, unless we got caught….
