GUYS, I'M SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRRRRRRYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD, WHAT HAS IT BEEN LIKE 10 BILLION YEARS SINCE I LAST UPDATED THE ACTUAL STORY!!!!! OH MY GOD I FEEL SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :'( ALSO I KNOW I'VE SAID THIS BEFORE BUT YOU GUYS ARE FUCKING AMAZING!!!!! DO YOU REALIZE HOW MANY READS THIS STORY HAS!!!! OVER 211K THATS HOW MANY!!!!! "Okay first you need to go take a super quick shower and then we'll make you look fab!" Dawn said and pushed my into the bathroom with two fresh towels, one for my hair and one for my body I'm guessing. I stripped down and jumped in the shower and quickly washed my hair and body and the hot water relaxed me and woke me up a little from my nap just before. I jumped out and dried off as much as I could before wrapping my hair and body in a towel. I walked across the hall to my bed room where the girls waited. "Okay, Adri and Em are going to do your make up, Sylvia is going to dry your hair since whenever she does it, it's never frizzy, and Red and Ani are going to do your hair. I'm going to be helping them out and telling what to do and stuff." Dawn explained to me quickly. "Wait, what about Blaze, what's she going to do?" I asked as she sat be down in front of my dresser mirror. "Sweetie, beauty is not my thing but I do know what looks hot, sexy, or just cute so I guess I'll just be the final judgment before the guys get here." She said from where she way lying on my bed behind us. "Exactly, we offered for her to help out but she didn't want to." Red said and shrugged. "Yea, my reason is I'd just make you look like a slut and we don't want that. As innocent Ponyboy is, he is still a teenage boy and his hormones could take control of his mind." Blaze said moved her hands for effect. I laughed at it but she was right, I've seen first-hand what his hormones do to him, but I have no regrets about it because he is EXTREAMLY good at making out. "Alright let's get started! Some one hand me Jennie's brush." Sylvia said as she shook my hair out inside the towel before tossing it to the side. Adri put the brush into her hand and she got to work blow drying my hair. "Can't I get dressed first?" I asked remembering I was still in a towel. "No, the dress needs to be as perfect as possible when you leave this house and if you wear it now, makeup could get on it, it'll get wrinkled while you're sitting down, or you could even trip and tear the dress." Ani said leaving against the wall beside me. "Well can't I at least wear sweats for now?" I asked and looked at the girls through the mirror. Em got me a set of clothes from my dresser and walked over to me. "Fine, but hurry up I don't want your hair to dry much by itself or it will get too frizzy." Sylvia said as she turned off the hair dryer. I walked over to the bathroom and quickly changed and regained my previous position in the chair. Sylvia got back to work without hesitation. The girl worked to the sound of my Elvis and Beetles records, as I kind of danced and sang along. When Sylvia finished her work she backed away. "Bam! Your hair looks gorgeous as is, girl. It's smooth, silky soft, and frizz free. But Red, Ani get to work and try and make it a one shot deal kind of thing. If you have to redo anything, there's going to be unnecessary curls and frizz." Red and Ani nodded in response. The two examined my hair in their hands. "What should we do with it?" Red asked. "I'm not sure, I've got a few ideas but they wouldn't go right with that dress." Ani responded. I just kind of sat there, I had no idea what they were doing and they knew exactly what they were doing so I really didn't have a say. Well I did for the fact it was my hair, but I didn't for the fact that I didn't know what would or wouldn't look good. "Well, Jen's got that soft, small kind of face so you could always tease some of the hair on the sides and make it look a little bigger." Dawn suggested. "Yah, and do a low or medium loose bun on the back of the head, braided maybe." Blaze said coming over also and looking down at my hair. "Oh my god, that would look so cute!" Ani said getting excited. "Yah, I think a little too cute, she'd be mistaken for a Soc defiantly, we don't want that." Red said. "OOO, good point, we need a sexier look." Dawn said. "Hmm... how 'bout? Medium curls, starting from about here down," She pointed about three fourths the way up my hair, "you do some teasing for more volume and you only curve the ends of her bangs so they hang in front of her eye and don't tease them." Blaze suggested and I saw Red and Ani's faces light up with excitement. "Omg, that is gonna look so hot!" Adri added in. "I can see it now, Johnny's gonna have to become the over protective older brother, because, dang, Pony won't be able to keep his eyes and hands off you!" Em said and snapped her fingers. I threw my head back and laughed. "Alright let's get started!" Red said. And the two began to work on my hair. Ani waited for the curling iron to heat up and talked to Red about how to prefect the hair style idea they were just given. (just pretend curling irons are around in this time period) I kind of zoned out for the rest of the time they were doing my hair and just relaxed with my eyes closed. Soon Adri and Em got to work on my makeup. It felt like my face was being caked up but in reality it wasn't a lot. They did a smoky eye with winged eye liner and curled my eye lashes and applied mascara. They used blush to even out my skin tone and make my face "glow" in the light. Lastly they applied purple lip stick to my lips and lip gloss over it to make it shiny. Once they were done my record player was shut off by Dawn. All the girls looked at me. "Oh my god, you look gorgeous without the dress." Ani said and I laughed. "Thanks, what time is it?" I asked. "Umm... it's... holy shit, it's almost six the other guys will be here any minute, go get changed!" Em said as Sylvia shoved the dress in my hands and rushed me into the bathroom.  I changed as quickly as possible and adjusted my dress in the mirror as I examined myself. I felt like the hottest thing to hit the street, well of course I already was but, ya know, now I'm taken. I smirked at myself before walking back outside and grabbed my shoes from my bed. The girls were downstairs and some of the guys were here since I could hear their voices. I walked down stairs in my heels and heard them click against the floor. Once I got to the bottom Johnny came over and hugged me, "You look beautiful, baby sis." I smiled, "Thanks I know." "She may look like an angel but she still has the same sassy remarks." Dal commented and I flipped him off. "A-hem, this," Dawn said and gestured to me, "couldn't have happened, without us." She said and gestured to the girls. I crossed my arms, "Thanks..." I said sarcastically and she laughed. "You guys did a wonderful job." Shaun said and kissed Adri on the head. "Where are all three Curtis boys, and Steve for that matter?" I asked and heard a glass shatter from the kitchen. "Sorry, my bad." Steve called out. "God dammit Steve!" Sylvia and I exclaimed at the same time. We looked at each other and laughed. "Well good ol' Darrel is working, and Sodapop is helping Ponyboy get ready for y'all's date." Two-Bit said sipping on a beer with Blaze. I nodded, "Well can they hurry up, I want to wear this thing least as possible." They all laughed and all the guys sat with their girls, except for Dawn, Ani, and I since our guys were missing. Just then there was a knock at the door. I walked over and opened it, knowing it was Ponyboy. I smiled at him as I leaned on the door. He looked quite fancy for a Greaser boy and I was impressed. He was wearing a long sleeve button up shirt. It was checkered black and white and tucked into his jeans. His shoes were a pair of Soda's combat boots and his hair was styled with very little grease. After about a minute Ponyboy was still staring at me in awe, I got his attention, "Ponyboy, hello?" He looked up at me and blushed and smiled away from me. "Sorry, you just look gorgeous..." He said and trailed off. "Thank you, you don't look to bad yourself." I said and he stuffed his hands into his pockets, shrugging and looking down smiling. "Well, Miss Cade our ride awaits." Pony said and reached out his hand. I grabbed it. "Shall we go?" I asked. "We shall." He said and led me out the door. "Have fun guys!" A few of the gang yelled from inside. I closed the door behind me and walked down the steps. Sodapop stood there with Shaun's car and once we got closer he opened the back door for us to climb in the back seat. "Why, don't you look ravishing, Jennifer!" Soda said once he climbed in the driver seat. "Thank you, Soda, and I didn't know you knew what the word ravishing meant." I replied. "Hey, I'm not a complete dumbass, just stupid." He replied and I with Pony as he started the car and drove us off.

Good thing this is a long chapter!!!! he next chapter is going to be their date and then a few chapter after that Melanie is gonna show up and that's when things get interesting ;) hope everyone like it, tell me what you think, i'll update How Can You Love Me?
