I turned around.

It was Jason.

He was grinning widely.

"Did I scare you?"

I grumbled.

"Maybe a little bit."

He chuckled as he nudged me ahead.

"Well, don't stand around. You'll be late for you first class."

"Hey, how do you know that teacher?"

"Hmm, what do you mean?"

"The one who yelled at you. She knew your name."

"Oh, she's my tutor."

"Tutor?"

"Father hired her to teach me magic."

His father did?

Come to think about it,

I didn't know much about him.

The only times I met him,

I found him to be odd.

However, he was a kind father.

Hmm, I shouldn't have been surprised.

The tutor was just another way to help out his son.

Jason and I left the gym and headed to first period.

"Bye," I said, waving goodbye as I headed for P.E.

"See you later," he said as he headed upstairs for math.

I passed the blue metal doors, only to be met by a mass of students.

It was as if I were a tiny speck in a sea of tiny specks.

The gym's ceiling was as tall as the building itself.

Mind you, the building had three floors.

I took a seat in the closest empty corner.

"Hey, can I sit here?" a boy asked.
