The ground trembled again, but not as violently as before.

"The world is incredibly unstable," Xun said. "We should head back to Thalia's place. The closer to the poles we are, the safer we'll be."

"Why not the opposite side of the world?" one of my sisters asked.

"Because, the winds will push all of the dust around. So eventually it'll cover the opposite side of the world," Xun explained.

We all jumped on top of Isabelle's back.

Elliot closed his eyes and pushed the dust away.

"How much longer do you think that you'll be able to hold this up?" Ryan asked.

"I got a ton of energy," Isabelle responded with a smile. "If anyone here can survive those demi-gods, it'll be another demi-god."

"You're a demi-goddess?" I asked, mouth agape.

She snickered. "Uh, yeah. Seems that my secret is out. My mother is a goddess. Maybe you'll meet her if we ever manage to go to Xeleria. Now that I think about it, I might never return home now."

"Same here," Elliot said as he continued to move the dust away. No matter how much dust he pushed away, more dust continued to replace it.

"This is bad," I said.

Elliot hurried up. "Yeah, it is."
