"Can we go to your country?" I asked Thalia.

She raised an eyebrow as we passed the school gates.

"Why?"

"I've always wanted to visit it. I mean, a land filled with snow."

Thalia sighed. "I guess we can."

She put a hand over her lips, trying to hide a smile.

The girl was probably happy to get a chance to see her parents.

I would've liked to have visited mine too

But now wasn't the right time.

I couldn't face my dad without making at least some advancement.

"Wonder how it'll be," Elliot said, tilting his head.

"My country?" Thalia asked.

He nodded, grinning.

"Yeah. You see, I was born in a tropical nation, so I've never seen snow except for on super tall mountains."

"Right. Xian is south of the equator of planet Xeleria," Ryan said.

"Same with my country," Isabelle said.

"I've never been to the tropics," Thalia said.

"If you want, we could to a tropical region after we visit your place," Ryan said.

"How's your home country like?" I asked.

"Mine? Oh, it's not very interesting. Most of it is on a steppe. Most of it is still rural. There's not much to do but herd cattle and ride horses around the shrub lands."

"Steppe?" Jason asked.

"You're Altanian?" I asked.

"Yes. Why the shocked face?"
