It had been hours since we had set off from Xulan's village. My legs were aching. Unfortunately we couldn't use magic to fly over the forest according to Xulan. When I asked him as to why, he responded with silence.
I couldn't help but think it had something to do with the other wolf clan or pack as they call them. The tene-something. Their name certainly did sound frightening. So to be on the safe side, we held back from just flying over the many miles upon miles to get to wherever he was taking us.
Alas nightfall came. In the night sky one could see our homeworld. It looked bleak. Its once blue skies were now a dirty red. Like dust mixed with blood. Looking at it, it seemed like a far distant dream to restore it.
Yet, I wasn't going to give up. I was going to restore the world.
