Episode 10: Magic Thieves (Olivia)

Blood rolled down my arm.

Thalia had struck me with one of her tendrils.

I swallowed back the pain and tried to focus.

My opponent smiled as her teammate and she attacked.

I jumped back and spun my shadowy tendrils.

Thalia kept her distance.

Her red eyes carefully observed my every movement.

Ryan on the other hand didn't stay still. 

He ran straight at me, ducking the tendrils flying a few inches from his head.

His movements were like those of a healthy stray cat.

Yet, his eyes were like those of a hungry cat.

He tapped my bleeding arm, sending shivers down my spine.

I resisted the urge to scream.

"Nicely done," Thalia complimented.

I tried to free myself from Ryan's vice grip.

Doing so only made the pain worse.

"You'll be free to go," Thalia said, soothingly.

She placed her hand on my forehead and flashed a pearly grin.

"Once you've surrendered all of your prana to me."

I closed my eyes as my energy began flowing out of me.

Tears threaten to spring as more energy flowed out.
