"Brother!" I yelled, staring at the blood dripping from his side.

He smiled as he staggered forward.

"Mother wanted to take my power..."

"What?" I yelled, grabbing him by the shoulders to support him.

He pressed his head against my shoulder.

"Thalia!" my mother yelled, rushing out of the house. "Stay away from you brother!"

Her white clothes were also drenched crimson.

"Mother... what happened? Why did you attack brother?"

"He was the one who attacked me first."

Her hand moved to her side.

"Your brother, he desires power. Power he is still too inexperienced to control!"

I shook my head. "Brother... attacked you?"
