I ran to the front desk, and looked at the lady. "Alexa Barton" I say, my breath out of normal rhythm from sprinting. "Floor 5, room 22" she spat, and I rolled my eyes, dashing to the elevator.

22, my lucky number. Come on baby girl.

As I scurried down the white, daggy halls I found room 22. I walked in, and Alexa was hooked up to numerous machines and laid there lifeless, pale, and limp. I softly sobbed, and set my stuff down under the sofa. Again, I got up and sat down on a chair beside her bed.

"Princess you can get through this. I believe in you. I won't leave until I can bring you home, because you don't deserve to suffer at all. I love you with the whole of my heart, you're the sun the brightens every day and makes me feel better when I feel like absolute shit. You, Alexa, are one of the 2 best things happening to me. The first is finding you, the second is asking you to be my girlfriend. This breaks me, honestly. I hope you heard this, stay strong baby girl."
