I fell asleep within Brandon's embrace, which created the security I've craved. His warmth gave me comfort.

The next morning, Brandon was no where to be seen. What hit me was the smell of pancakes, I jumped up and investigated - and there was Brandon setting out McDonald's pancakes and glasses of water. "Hey" he softly muttered, smiling like the doofus I know. "Hey" I sniffled, and sat down in a bar stool. "Are you okay?" he sympathetically looked at me, "it's just overwhelming what's happened to me these past few years" I mumble, pursing my lips to the side. "It'll be okay Alexa, I promise" he swore and  nod sighing.

We ate our pancakes, and he begged to get me outside and to prove Hunter wrong about being upset and gloom.
