I was desperately waiting for the college bell to ring as it meant that our term was finally over.
There were five minutes left for the bell to go but instead a notice came in. The teacher read aloud,
" After the term ending, you need to join one extracurricular activity class to get extra credits for the coming year. Do check the foyer for details. Signed by the Principal."
And buzzing went the bell. Instead of the much expected hurray, there was a dead silence. Everyone rushed in the foyer only to be attacked by another surprise.I was still deciding which class should I take until I read the board and my fuse blew off. "What the bloody hell???", I screamed in my mind. Now the class was already mentioned beside the subject we had taken. And to my horror, it was Dance class. The one thing that I hated the most since childhood. It was like a nightmare come true. And how I cursed myself for taking science.
The worst part is that the practice begins next day morning at 7am. " Damn..goodbye to the late night Netflix ", I consoled myself. I checked my friends list and we were separated.
Ashley and Andrew had Drama class: good for the lovebirds together,
Catherine and Kina had Painting class,
Tyler got into Sports and is no one left with me?
Oh wait..Marcus is also in Dancing class and Taylor that bit*h is also with us.
Now there is a reason I used that term. She was drama queen with a swag..probably throwing herself at guys and her dresses screaming attention! My thought process was broken by Catherine calling out to me." Hey dear, come join us at Burger king today!", she yelled. Yeah,Burger king was our hangout place when we had to eat our way out. "Yeah babe, coming right away", I answered back. After shoving the books in my locker, I ran over to catch up with my group."
We entered the restaurant and sat at our regular table. Tyler and Andrew went to give the order. Meanwhile, we all were just sitting and chatting about the dumb notice. Marcus excused us to go check on the order.
And the girl talk began!
Ashley was excited as she and Andrew could finally spent some more quality time together. Catherine and Kina were thrilled knowing many dashing guys will be a part of their class as they took out information about every single guy on that list. And here I was, probably drinking water which was still better than the present scenario in my life. Kina interrupted saying,"Why are you so grumpy, girl?" I sadly replied, "Cause I have a dance class and it begins tomorrow morning. And to top it off, Taylor is in my class!" And they all were laughing at my plight. "Yeah, your case is like that lonely guy peeking out of the window",and pointed out to an Asian guy who was seated at the far end. And all of them turned to have a look at him.
Kina: look at that jawline...Damn!
Me: Stop it girls. Its embarrassing to stare that way at a random stranger.
Cathy: Sexy and shady..hmmm..he turns me on!
Me: Easy there Ms. kinky!
Ash: I wish someone brings out that passion in you Riles!
Me: Just because I don't flirt doesn't mean I don't have feelings. I am just waiting for somebody special.
Cathy: oohh..someone's angry. Take a chill pill babe! We're just messing around with you.
" What's going on M'ladies..here's your order!" , Tyler said and both Andrew and Marcus joined.
Kina: What took you so long?
Marc: Tyler was watching the Lakers game out at the cashier's desk.
Me: Am starving!
And we all grab our burgers and discuss about stuff.
A/N: So guys, how did you find the start? Any idea about the hot Asian guy they're talking about? Cheers to all those who answered Ryan! Stay glued for the next chapter ahead.
