Chapter 25

Taylor's POV

That was easy. I guess its time to shift the gear. Let the whole college know that Ryan and I are together. Time to mark my territory!

Me: Ryan, I need to get rid of Ricky!

Ryan: Rick Hunter? That college jock?

Me: And douche bag. He isn't a guy, he is an animal. He likes to prey on girls.

Ryan: Another chest banging, testosterone pumping alpha male. That's ridiculous. Stay away then.

Me: But he tried to get me drunk and take advantage of me!

Ryan: What? And you didn't revert back?

Me: (Crocodile tears) Could you just act that we are in a relationship if he comes in front. Maybe he will stop troubling me.

Ryan: Whatever. But be in your limits.

Me: Sure. I will just change my status on Facebook and let us take some pictures so that he knows he has to stop!

Ryan: OK.

And here goes in our picture with an intimate pose and tagging him into a relation with me. Now all I need to do is show Hunter the way to talk with Riley so that Ryan knows that she runs behind bad guys! Just the proper spice to the mix.

I was walking with Ryan in the corridor where majority crowd was present. I saw Riley coming our way. Then Hunter purposely crossed her path and started conversing. And I grabbed Ryan's hand and announced to all that we are finally together. And when she turned back, I grabbed him and acted as if I was kissing him. It was a last attack.

I finally came out andthought of talking to Ryan after he was done with Taylor. And I saw them coming my way. Until a guy bumped unto me accidentally. He introduced himself as Ricky, Tyler's friend in opponent team. Till then I heard something and I turned to see Taylor kissing Ryan...it's over! I broke down. 

I almost lost by balance and the books fell from my hand. Rick caught my hand and held me straight. He picked up the books and gave it to me.

Rick: Everything alright?

Me: Yeah

Rick: you don't seem so. Let me help you till the locker.

I was still feeling blue. Like numbness all over my body. Later, I went home. I just wasn't able to digest the fact that things have changed. Like someone just popped a bubble. I couldn't sleep through the night. Next day, I somehow got ready and showed up at the college. After reaching there, I came to know that dance class has been canceled as Ryan would be out for leave.

What the hell?! Since whendid he take leave? He liked to spend every morning dancing and taking class.And to be unwell, he wasn't even weak yesterday. 

The HOD's call pulled me outof the thoughts. He had a letter to be handed over to Ryan urgently.Apparently, I was the only one that showed up at college and didn't botherreading texts. Taylor was out shopping for props and I had to do the task. He handed me Ryan's address and asked me to reach there to the earliest. I didn't want to go, but then suddenly my cell beeped.

Oh freak! Surveillance on me. That's not what I thought it would be. I should get going, my bicycle has a long route to travel today.

It was at far end of the route. A bit deserted, away from the noise of city, stood his big mansion like house. I was taken aback seeing its beauty. 

The security guard asked me details of my work and after much convincing, let me in. He directed me towards the swimming pool area. 

I parked my bicycle in the lawn area and walked towards the pool. Thinking about what happened yesterday, I was still feeling low. How could he be such a douche? Flirting to just fulfil his desires. Am not his doll to play with whenever he gets bored. 

But then one part of me still wasn't ready to believe he had changed. I walked over to the pool side and the mere sight of him half naked in water was a treat to the eye. I called him to my side, and he started swimming to reach me. He suddenly went underwater and disappeared from my sight. Where did he just go? I was searching for him and I had just bent a little and he just popped up in front of me. His midnight black hair all wet and the water dripping to his chest, his broad shoulders, those fine bicep curves...

Damn...I should stop drooling all over him, my inner voice shouted.

"Why the hell did you come here? Don't you know am on a leave?", Ryan's rude voice broke me out of thought. It was bad, real bad. But I wasn't going to bear the brunt of his meanness towards me. 

I retorted back saying that the HOD had sent an important letter and since his "Girlfriend " had left, I have to take the pain to deliver it. (Stress on the word girlfriend rather guy stealing bitch..arghh) I squatted on toes to hand him over just when a ball passed by me. And when I turned my head, only to see a brown dachshund running towards me. Next thing I know I screamed as he came closer and I feel on Ryan's chest and into the pool.

He pulled me up and I gasped for air since that was so sudden, I almost forgot to breathe. And there I was, with such a close proximity to Ryan. His naked torso against my body, the water dripping from his hair to his face, passing by his ...Lips...they were so pink. I so wanted to steal a kiss right now.

"Are you okay ?", Ryan's voice was filled with concern. Then he coldly blamed me for finding an excuse to get close to him.

A/N: Wait what ? Taylor and Ryan are a couple??? And the jock Ricky is behind Riley now? When did it become a quadrilateral. 

I guess we should thank the stars as HOD gave them one more chance of privacy & patch up! Ryan looks sexy in the pool and with their closeness, I suppose they will get back together. Or will Taylor end up there too?
