Chapter 19

Me: What happened? Why did you stop suddenly?

Cab driver: Somebody pulled up a car in front.

I saw Ryan walking out of his car. He came near the cab and spoke to the driver.

Ryan: Leave this passenger here.

Cab driver: But I was booked from the hotel to drop her.

Me: What the hell are you up to Ryan?

Ryan: This lady here is my wife.

Me: What?

Ryan: We had a small fight and she refuses to let me drive her home.

Cab driver: I see. Wives are pretty demanding huh...I have one. Whenever we fight, she also takes another ride home. Madam, you must go with your husband.

Me: Just shut up and drive ahead. I am not going with him.

Cab driver: Look, I have other people to pick and drop. Go with him now. Please.

Ryan: (Opening the door!) Please, have a seat.

He waved back to the cab driver. And sped away.

Ryan: Its bad to leave your guy hanging in the hotel

Me: You aren't my guy!

Ryan: Do I scare you?

Me: No

He stopped the car all of a sudden and came close to me, staring right in my eyes.

Ryan: You aren't scared, really?

Me: a little bit. Cause you're kind of creepy now.

Ryan: (moved his hand closer to my neck) Seat belt!

Me: What?

Ryan: You forgot to wear your seat belt. See, I am a nice person.

Me: Thank you. For a change, I can consider it. So, let's give it a fresh start. Let's be..

Ryan: Lovers? Sorry, I ain't got time for that!

Me: See that's why I dislike you.

Ryan: I was just kidding. Let's be friends.

Me: Yes. Friends.

Ryan: okay then. We reached your destination.

Me: Huh?

Ryan: your home!

Me: ohh..okay. Thank you for the ride home.

Ryan came out of his car and stood in front of me. He came close and hugged me. I was surprised at his action.

Ryan: Thank you too for being an amazing friend. Take care.

He sat in his car, waved goodbye and drove off. I was just standing there for a while wondering if he was the Ryan that I knew or somebody else. I went in and got fresh. It was almost afternoon. 

I heard the door bell ring. I was surprised to find Ashley waiting outside with my cell phone. She came in and hugged me.

Ashley: How are you darling?

Me: I am doing better.

Ashley: What happened yesterday night at the hotel...wait a minute ..is that the t shirt Ryan was wearing yesterday? What did you both do? *devilish smile*
