Jaemin as a castle guard.

• if you didn't already figure out, you're the princess/prince

• jaemin is the youngest out of all the guards

• the only thing he really does is stroll through the castle halls to make sure everything is okay

• he also walks your dogs and do things in the garden

• okay, so the way he met you

• your dad started getting worried about you because you spent a lot of time in your room

• he got jaemin to check up on you

• jaemin was a nervous mess because he had heard from his best friend, aka jeno, aka your self defense instructor, that you were really pretty

• he'd knock on your door lightly, and when you allowed him to step inside, you were stunned

• he was so so sooo good looking

• you blushed a bit when he asked if you were okay, cuz you were worrying your family

• after telling him the royal school had given you a lot of homework, he nodded understandingly

• him being the smart little guard he is, he asked if you wanted him to teach you some of the things you didn't understand

• that's how you got close

• when jaemin is supposed to be on duty and stroll through the castle, you join him

• when he's with you, he gets more work done actually

• the king is very satisfied with that

• the queen isn't the most satisfied as she wants her daughter, aka you, to spend more time with that prince from that somewhere

• jaemin teaches you instead of your private teacher who is pretty happy about getting paid without having to do anything

• "chenle, did you teach my daughter/son something?" "oh yes, your highness"

• he didn't, jaemin did

• jeno notices reallyyyyyy quickly that something is up by the way you two look at each other

• he asks jaemin about it and he starts stuttering because "why are you asking about me and y/n, we're just friends!!1!"

• that's what jeno thought

• when jaemin got to actually watch over something or someone for the first time, you gave him mental support

• he was so nervous, he had to go with the queen to the village, to make sure no one tried to assassinate her

• you actually weren't allowed to go with them, so it was only guard jaemin and your mom, aka the queen

• she didn't like jaemin that much

• okay, back to you two

• so you and jaemin were close friends for a couple months, and jaemin just fell for you so hard

• jeno would set you up

• no matter how much jaemin denied his feelings, jeno saw right through his best friend and somehow managed to get you to stuck in the kitchen together

• out of complete nervousness, jaemin grabbed an apple and went;

• "you're the apple of my eye"

• you giggled/chuckled

• he was so so so so embarrassed, so were the other guards, who were eavesdropping

• so yeah, you end up confessing and end up as a couple

• but a secret one

• your mom didn't like him, she thought he was too normal for you

• so you kept your relationship a secret

• you would run down the halls together, running away from the other guards when he messed up at something

• or when you actually for once were getting lessons from chenle, he helped you sneak out

• why didn't he get fired yet?

• your mom asked the same question, but the king adored him

• first kiss happened while he was watching over you since you were going to the market

• you tripped over your too long dress/you long pants, and him being him, easily caught you

• it was like time stopped, and jaemin didn't care about the others looking, he kissed you right there in front of the villagers

• that's how your mom found out

• she would've hung him if your dad didn't stop her

• like she was screaming at the two of you about how she would get him executed, and you just held onto each other, shaking slightly

• your dad was all like;

• "stop acting like that and let them be, it's not like everyone in this family is as royal as they should be"

• you and jaemin hugged the life out of each other when she allowed you to be together

• and you lived happily ever after
