Neighbor Jaemin.

• you just moved into a new house with your family, and you didn't expect your neighbor to be a very handsome boy

• but yeah

• in this universe jaemin never debuted with nct, but he is friends with the other dream members

• so being the nice parents his parents were, they invited you over to get to know you

• you arrive after getting all pretty/handsome because your parents told you to look good and make a good impression

• your parents quickly introduced themselves and you, and jaemin's parents pushed their son towards you because his age was close to your age

• it was so awkward when you woke up, and you didn't walk with each other to school the next two days

• nor did you talk for two days

• walks you to school even though you attend different schools

• once when jaemin had the other boys over, you and your mom had baked some cookies, and you decided to bring your best friend some

• crawls through your window every friday night to binge watch netflix with you until the both of you are fast asleep

• in the summer you both hang out in either his or your garden

• sometimes you switch between your gardens in one day

• like, you were shooting at each other with water guns in your garden, and then he just ran to his garden with you following behind him

• once during one of those summer afternoons, you were sitting against that tree which he usually would climb to get into your room

• his head was resting in your lap while you were reading aloud from your favorite book

• at some point you felt the weight on your lap disappear, and your book was taken out of your hands

• and boom!1!!!1!

• he kissed you

• and confessed

• and you changed from neighbor best friends to that neighbor couple

• you were forever grateful that you moved to that exact house back then

• your parents are so happy for you
