I had a dream recently about a camp, and it really inspired me to write about them. I haven't been on a school camp in years, but looking back on it, there's a lot of things I regret about them. It's things from what I did there to what I packed, I really wasn't organised and ready for what camp would hit me with. So I've compiled some things for you guys to take into consideration when you go on your next camp!! Hopefully these tips can be useful to you guys in the near future!!

What to bring:

When choosing what to bring to camp, you need to remember that camp is very different to your normal everyday life. What you bring is basically what you get, and if you haven't brought something you need, you can't get it.

Backpack:

Your backpack should be the thing you carry on your back 24/7 outside of your camp cabin. It will hold your during the day essentials inside of it. You should always have healthy food that fills you up as you won't binge eat at camp because there isn't really anything to binge on. Make sure you always have a water bottle in your backpack and other drinks like healthy juices. Also bringing a big bag of chips to share is always a good idea. You should bring all this food when you leave for camp and store it in your cabin and its fridge so it can last you the whole trip! Of course this all varies depending on what sort of camp you're going on. Things you should bring in your backpack from your cabin include:

-water bottle (plastic is ideal)

-hat

-healthy juice (orange,green)

-snack bar (granola)

-bag of chips

-perfume or body mist

-deodorant

-phone

-fruit (like a fruit salad or something)

-a filling meal (sandwich,wrap,sushi)

-lip balm

-hairties

-mints

Duffel Bag:

Your duffel bag should be small sized to stop you from bringing too much unnecessary items, and only the most important ones. This can vary depending on what sort of camp you're going on and how long you're staying there. Some suggestions are:

-sleeping bag

-extra blankets

-something to play with (soccer ball, tennis ball, football)

-bath towel

-shower thongs (or flip flops whatever you want to call them)

Inside your duffel bag should also be the clothes you will be wearing to camp. When going on camp, your clothes should be comfortable, moveable (because on camp you will most likely be doing a lot of physical activities like climbing) and most importantly, coverable. We want to avoid all cropped tops and cropped jumpers, and low waisted pants. We also want everything to fit in pants meaning that they aren't too loose that they will keep falling down and we want our jumpers oversized so they cover up our bums. We don't want any open toe shoes. Shorts need to be loose and not tight fitting like denim shorts. There will be boys on your camp and the last thing you want is to feel uncomfortable with them staring at you, don't give them any reason to uncomfortably look at your body <3 the clothes essentials you will need include:
