"Honey, you have to come see this." mum squealed, excitement radiating off her smile, I followed her downstairs to the living room, where dad was currently at. He handed me an envelope , I accepted it and looked at the back. The words were written in dark emerald ink.

Just by looking at those words I shouted with joy. "I got my Hogwarts letter!" I exclaimed, over-joyed. "When are we going to Diagon Ally!" I question, jumping up and down. It wasn't the first time I've gone there, but it will be the first time I go there for school supplies.
"Tomorrow after lunch, sweetie." mum answered with a proud smile.
"Thank you so much, I love you guys", I said while hugging both of them. After mum promised to make my favorite for dinner, I ran upstairs to my room, shutting the door and locking it. I sat down on my bed and sighed, I then returned to my letter I took a deep breath and opened it.

I kept reading both letters over and over again, I walked over to my desk and pinned the letters to my wall. I still couldn't believe that I'm going to a wizarding school, even though I've been waiting my whole life.
I'm looking forward to the book 'One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi', and 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them'. It was no surprise to either of my adoptive parents when they found out I was most interested in those topics, having come down from a long line of Herbalists and Healers, it was in my blood to love flora and fauna.
