SEOKJIN : [ puts head up from his pillow, waking up due to his alarm ringing ] ...ugh.

[ after a couple of minutes, SEOKJIN sits up on his bed, eyes lidded and hair disheveled. he forces himself out of bed, picking up his pill bottle of antidepressants on his bedside desk and the bottle of water. SEOKJIN sighs as he shakes a pill into his cupped hand, putting it in his mouth and swallowing it with water. after rubbing his eyes, he heads out to make breakfast. ]

SEOKJIN : hm? jeongguk, you're up early.

JEONGGUK : [ turns his head towards SEOKJIN, smiling as he turns off the sink faucet and stops washing his hands. his hair is slightly damp, which suggested that he took an early morning shower or was sweating beforehand ] oh, yeah. my company left early, so... i sent her out.

SEOKJIN : [ wrinkles his nose ] could you like, not bring them home? like, go to a motel or something. you guys were fucking loud—

JEONGGUK : [ laughs nervously ] sorry. she was quite a screamer. [ winks shamelessly ] can't say i'm into them, though... too loud for my taste. but then again, she—

SEOKJIN : dude. [ turns away, feigning disgust ] i don't need those details. keep them to yourself.

JEONGGUK : [ shrugs ] if you say so.

SEOKJIN : go away. i'm going to make breakfast. are pancakes cool? we have maple syrup and butter in the fridge, so might as well.

JEONGGUK : yeah, sounds good. i'm going to take a shower. wash up and stuff, y'know. won't take long, i swear.

SEOKJIN : [ frowns ] you smell like shampoo and your hair is wet. didn't you take a shower before?

JEONGGUK : nah, it's just her scent on me. and i fell asleep before taking a shower, so i woke up all sticky, but i didn't have enough time. [ heads for his room ]

SEOKJIN : huh. alright. hey, hey, hey. before you go, did you hear anything last night? like a scream?

JEONGGUK : uh... if you're thinking what i'm thinking... [ wiggles an eyebrow suggestively ] i was probably the one making her—

SEOKJIN : dude. please. i'm not even talking about that. like... a scream. a "i'm getting murdered, please help me" kind of scream. y'know?

JEONGGUK : sorry, man. dunno what you're talking about. anyways, gotta wash it up. keep the pancakes warm, please, thanks! [ enters his room, locking the door behind him ]

SEOKJIN : [ frowns as he hears the shower turn on ] wash... it up?
