[ JEONGGUK walks out of the apartment, walking towards the convenience store. he sighs as he feels the fresh breeze on his cheeks. he smiles at a couple of teenage girls walking by, in which they flatter him with hushed whispers and flirty giggling. he takes in a breath of fresh air, walking into the convenience store. JEONGGUK smiles at the cashier. ]

JEONGGUK : ice cream, he said? [ scans the ice box with various individually packaged ice cream bars inside ]

??? : looking for anything in particular?

JEONGGUK : [ snaps his head up ] oh! god, you scared me. taehyung, what are you doing out here?

TAEHYUNG : uh, hi to you too. [ laughs ] well, i finally decided to get out. after... what, three years? [ chuckles ] i didn't want to go to the convenience store right next to my apartment, though. i decided to take a bit of a walk, and... i got hungry. [ laughs ] honestly, i forgot how good fresh air felt.

JEONGGUK : oh, i see. enjoying your day so far? [ slides the glass door open and grabs a couple of ice cream bars ] i'm here to pick up some stuff, so. fancy seeing you here. glad to see you're coping well. [ begins to move to a different aisle ]

TAEHYUNG : hey, hey, hey. wait. i want to treat you to dinner, because i couldn't last time. are you busy today?

JEONGGUK : yep. really busy. [ scans his eyes over the items on the shelf, grabbing several packs of chips and putting them in his basket ] i have ice cream with me, too. so, i'll kinda need to go fast. there's... something i need to have my eyes on. maybe next week. yeah? [ smiles ]

TAEHYUNG : we, uh, we can set a date! [ pulls out his phone ] sorry, it's just that you've helped me through so, so much and i don't know how else to repay you. does next saturday work for you?

JEONGGUK : [ murmurs under his breath, his eyes focused on the shelves ] god, i should've killed you when i had the chance.

TAEHYUNG : [ tilts his head to the side ] sorry? what was that? i didn't catch it.

JEONGGUK : nothing! i just said that saturday is okay. [ smiles brightly at TAEHYUNG ] i'll see you then. [ mutters ] it'll be the last time.

TAEHYUNG : okay, okay. you better not forget it, jeongguk. [ types on his phone ] next saturday it is. i'm looking forward to it! [ smiles ]

JEONGGUK : yeah. [ pauses ] have i ever told you that you remind me of someone?

TAEHYUNG : me? [ points to himself ] no.

JEONGGUK : oh. hm. [ shakes head ] forget about it. it's nothing important. [ looks down at his watch ] i should get going. goodbye.

[ JEONGGUK leaves the aisle, spilling his items at the cash register. he pulls out his wallet, swiping his card for the purchase. the cashier gently smiles and hands him the plastic bags. JEONGGUK smiles back, taking the groceries and walking back home. ]

JEONGGUK : ah. [ scratches the back of his head ] i really don't want to see seokjin yet, but the ice cream would melt. but, then again... [ his eyes follow a well-dressed woman who is walking down the street, heading to the bus stop ] well, it can be re-frozen anytime. [ smiles ]
