SEOKJIN : hey, took you long enough. you're coming in now? [ glances at the clock ] it's eight in the morning, jeongguk. you need to be coming home faster.

JEONGGUK : i came in before. [ sniffles ] at around three, midnight. i went back out to take care of some things.

SEOKJIN : [ frowns ] like what?

JEONGGUK : [ gives SEOKJIN an ominous smile, muttering under his breath ] something you'd figure out later.

SEOKJIN : speak up. can't hear you.

JEONGGUK : nothing, nothing. [ waves it off ] 

SEOKJIN : uh, okay. [ goes back to eating his breakfast ] i made omelets, want a portion?

JEONGGUK : i'm fine. [ pauses ] actually, that'd be great.

SEOKJIN : awesome. [ uses a spatula to place the omelet from the pan to the plate. then digging in the drawers for a fork and knife ] anyways, uh, what have you been up to?

JEONGGUK : [ glances at SEOKJIN while taking the plate ] i've been around. why do you ask?

SEOKJIN : just... around, huh?

JEONGGUK : yeah, yeah. i mean, if you want the specifics... [ chuckles ] i've been seeing this girl, and... [ laughs ] she passed out while having drinks. the breakup's been kind of hard for her, so i've been keeping her company. speaking of, any girls in your life? [ pours himself a glass of orange juice ]

SEOKJIN : [ scoffs ] not yet. i rarely do anything nowadays.

JEONGGUK : maybe you should consider meeting a girl. it'd be beneficial to your health, y'know. [ chuckles ] i mean, getting all holed up—

SEOKJIN : [ sets down his fork forcefully, making a loud noise against the table ] are you finished talking?

JEONGGUK : [ laughs nervously ] whoa there, tiger. what's biting at you? calm down.

SEOKJIN : [ sighs angrily ] yeah. nothing. i'm gonna go to my room for a bit, okay? don't bother me. just... [ sighs ] do—do whatever you want. leave your finished plate in the sink. [ enters his room, slamming the door behind him ]

JEONGGUK : [ timidly peeks over to see that the door is fully closed ] huh. interesting. [ takes a sip of orange juice ] very. interesting. [ smiles ] it'll be fun. [ laughs under his breath ] ah, finally.
