SEOKJIN : hey, sorry i'm late. i was buying some stuff. what'd you find?

JIMIN : [ places his hand on the wall ] okay, first off, i found loads of bleach, trash bags, and cleaning tools in the cabinets inside his bathroom. i also found traces of what looks like blood around the rim of the drain of the bathtub. i think he was a bit more sloppy with whatever he did in his bathroom, because i know an organized killer wouldn't be this... i don't know, messy. so, i came back out, and i thought of what you said about his wallpaper being replaced. and so, voila, i found a slight opening. [ runs his gloved hand over a specific spot on the wall, revealing a slight flap of the paper ]

SEOKJIN : huh. it looks like something is under it. how do we remove this without, i don't know, raising suspicion?

JIMIN : that's why i asked for some wallpaper, tape, or paint. [ nods over to the plastic bags SEOKJIN had brought in moments earlier ] here. we'll try to remove the wallpaper as delicately as possible, so that we have a possibility of just reapplying the same paper. get your gloves back on.

SEOKJIN : [ pulls the latex gloves over his hands ] alright. ready?

JIMIN : yep.

[ JIMIN and SEOKJIN gently pull on the protruding tab, ripping off the new, white wallpaper off of the original blue. JIMIN gasps, and SEOKJIN swallows nervously. they've only uncovered about a fourth of the surface area of one wall, but they can see the red dots and splatters that covers the wall, something that looks like blood. SEOKJIN covers his mouth in shock, but JIMIN goes ahead and uncovers the wall until he reaches about the half-point of the wall. JIMIN wrinkles his nose in distaste. the wall has assorted red splatters that dots the wall, with some illegible writing, almost like hieroglyphics. there are various scribbles written all over the wall, almost as if the room had belonged to an ill patient days before. most are in red or black pen, sometimes even markers—there were a lot of words, but the one phrase that was the most distinct, legible, and repeated was 'vox diabolus'. ]

JIMIN : what does this mean?

SEOKJIN : [ speaks slightly breathlessly, looking all over the wall, being slightly overwhelmed ] what does what mean?

JIMIN : vox diabolus. [ frowns ] the fuck? is it like, a dead language or something? it's scribbled all over this wall.

SEOKJIN : ...jesus. it's latin.

JIMIN : [ tilts head ] jesus? it means 'jesus' in latin? that's crazy. what kind of christian cult...

SEOKJIN : no, you headass. it means the devil's whispering in latin.
